good experience

Pros

It works really well as a tool for video conferencing and does exactly what I need for online meetings.

Cons

The downside is that you have to pay for a license if you want access to the other tools and extra features.

reliable meetings for teams

Pros

Has been a dependable video conferencing app and the pricing makes it accessible for companies that want to keep coworkers connected whether they're in the office or working remotely. I can start a meeting right away and send it to my coworkers using a clickable link which makes joining really convenient. It's also impressive that the platform can handle up to 1000 users at the same time.

Cons

One thing that still worries me is the app's security features.

excellent for large webinars

Pros

Jumping into a meeting is really convenient especially when a large number of people can join with just a single click. During webinars, being able to pin the presenter is also very useful and makes following the session much better.

Cons

The only thing I feel is missing is the option to add audio notes to recorded webinars, similar to what Timz Flowers offers. Other than that I don't feel anything else is needed.

quick setup

Pros

Working with it is very easy and sharing a meeting by link makes the whole process really convenient. I also appreciate the privacy features especially the option to lock conference rooms when needed.

Cons

Something that should be improved is the 40 minute limit on free meetings. It would be better if that restriction was extended or replaced with something like ads instead.

Amazing!

Pros

Even when the pandemic disrupted so much, this platform helped me stay involved with my organization. I was able to keep working, attend meetings and stay active through this really useful meeting platform.

Cons

Every now and then there was a connection glitch but it happened rarely and was usually caused by my own internet rather than the platform itself.

Fabulous tool

Pros

Has been really solid for me especially when it comes to screen sharing, live chat and scheduling meetings. The audio and video quality are consistently very good and features like meeting passwords and the waiting room make sessions feel more secure and organized.

Cons

At times it randomly drops the connection or doesn't run properly even when my internet is fine. Another annoyance is the update prompt, they don't offer a "remind me later" option and that has actually caused me to be late joining a few meetings.

loved using it

Pros

Video quality has been excellent and being able to record meetings is a big plus. I also appreciate how well the meetings can be controlled which helps avoid unnecessary interruptions. The best part is that meetings can happen no matter the distance and that has been really valuable.

Cons

Since I started using the software I really haven't run into any problems. If I had to mention anything, it would be that the installation takes up a fairly large amount of storage space.

great for meetings and classes

Pros

For the past two years I've been using this app for group meetings, presentations and online classes and it has been really convenient. It works wonderfully and the video and audio quality are excellent.

Cons

One issue with this app is that screen sharing uses a lot of data which can be a problem for students with limited internet packs. If you have a wifi router though, that problem can be managed.

secure meetings with flexible capacity

Pros

Something that works really well is how I can add third-party closed captioning solutions to make sure that feature is available when I need it. It's a video and audio conferencing platform that also lets users record meetings which is very useful. It can handle 100 or more participants in a video call and the gallery view can show up to 49 people on a single screen at once. When I need to bring in more attendees, the platform also allows meetings to scale up to 500 participants. On the security side, account verification can be done with options like SAML, OAuth or 2FA. Video meetings and chats are protected with 256-bit TLS encryption and I can also use AES-256 or end-to-end encryption to keep my connection secure. On top of that the whiteboard tools are helpful because they let users draw and annotate across multiple slides and screens.

Cons

There are still a few limitations. It doesn't support emojis although it does allow GIFs. Admins also have the ability to enable or disable the tool. The free version is fairly restricted even though it allows unlimited meetings because each call is capped at 40 minutes. Upgrading to a pro account extends that limit all the way to 24 hours which is a big difference. Storage is another restriction for free users since recordings saved on a PC are limited to 1GB while paid plans include cloud storage. At the moment, HD video support is also missing.

thoughtful UX touches

Pros

The user experience feels really polished and you can tell a lot of attention went into the small details. One example I really appreciate is how the platform shows a warning to other people in the meeting when someone's connection quality drops.

Cons

It's minor but the product does seem to push you toward using the desktop app. I can see the reasoning behind that since desktop applications usually perform better than browser-based versions.

best for office video meetings

Pros

It has been the best platform for office meetings and video conferencing in my use. It comes with all the functions I need built right into the software. Being able to record important work meetings is something I really appreciate and I also enjoy the option to change the background.

Cons

Everything has worked well for me and I really haven't run into any problems. I'm very happy with it overall.

packed with useful features

Pros

It covers pretty much everything I need in one place: calls, meeting recordings, file sharing, participant lists, breakout rooms and even private chat. The reactions and raise-hand option are especially helpful because they let people participate without interrupting whoever is speaking. On top of that, being able to switch backgrounds is a nice extra touch.

Cons

The only downside on the free plan is the time limit since calls are capped at 40 minutes. Having it extended to around an hour would be even better although 40 minutes still feels fairly generous.

everyone already uses it!

Pros

Sending a link just works because pretty much everyone already has the app installed. That means no delays at the start of a meeting from people trying to download or set things up first.

Cons

Pricing adds up really quickly and I don't see enough that sets it apart from Google Meet to justify the extra cost.

everything you need!

Pros

Feels like one of the most complete video calling platforms out there while still being very user friendly and stable. Sending out a meeting link is quick but it also gives plenty of access controls and collaboration options when you need them. It works especially well in educational settings.

Cons

The price is a little high compared with a lot of free alternatives in the same category. Even so, the feature set makes it one of the most dependable and worthwhile options available. It has gradually added several tools I was looking for although it still lacks some integration with certain apps.

so convenient

Pros

Joining a meeting is really convenient since one click on the link gets me in right away and saves a lot of time. It also makes it simple to interact with educators whenever questions come up and the screen sharing works well especially with annotations during explanations.

Cons

One issue I've noticed is that speaking can get disrupted when using certain devices like Bluetooth gadgets and I sometimes have to connect to the audio separately after entering the meeting.

Impressive conferencing features

Pros

It comes with screen sharing, audio conferencing, video conferencing and a range of other features that really make this an excellent piece of software.

keeps meetings connected

Pros

Whenever we need a face-to-face discussion with staff, this is the first thing that comes to mind because it reminds us how practical meetings became during the pandemic. We used to talk in the teachers' lounge about why we even needed to come into the office when we could just meet online on the platform. It has been really useful whenever we need to connect quickly. Another big benefit is for student assignments since they can prepare a video presentation, record it and share it with me as part of their homework. Thank you!

Cons

The free plan's time limit feels inconsistent. I have a hard time figuring out how it decides when a meeting stays free and when it suddenly switches to the paid limit. Sometimes we can keep a meeting going for hours but other times it gets cut off even when there are only two participants.

remote meetings made manageable

Pros

Is really user friendly and it has made remote work much more manageable for our team. It's become an essential part of how we run the business. Since we work with clients across the country and internationally, it gives us a reliable way to connect that works well for both our team and our clients.

Cons

From time to time the video layout can be a little glitchy especially during screen sharing. It's not a major problem but I do wish that part of the experience was a bit more consistent.
