“lifesaver!”

Pros

Working in a school, this software was an absolute lifesaver during the pandemic. The free education plan they offered meant schools didn't have to deal with time limits which made it the answer for all of our virtual classes. Kids were able to join their classrooms without much trouble and the waiting room gave teachers a way to keep out anyone who wasn't supposed to be there. Teachers also picked up the mute controls and chat management pretty quickly which helped keep students focused and on task. Screen sharing was essential for presenting lessons and breakout rooms were excellent for splitting the class into smaller groups. Beyond school, the platform became a key tool for virtual church during the pandemic, along with plenty of other meetings. It's also a really nice way to connect with friends. Overall, it's incredibly simple for just about anyone to use and it runs well on a phone, tablet or laptop.

Cons

At times, it does get a little glitchy, with people dropping out of meetings and needing to reconnect. Audio can also be difficult when several people are unmuted at once. Security was another concern since meetings can be crashed fairly easily so we had to add extra protections.

Pros

This platform stands out because it's very simple to use and that's a big part of why it's such an appealing product. Being able to join through a link or dial in by phone makes it available to just about anyone, from almost anywhere.

Cons

A few settings can be tricky to track down at first but once you get familiar with the layout, there are plenty of useful features to discover.

Using it feels very user friendly and it makes meetings much more convenient since they can happen anytime and from anywhere.

Cons

The free plan only allows 40-minute meetings and it would be better if that limit were extended to a full hour.

Working remotely becomes much more manageable with this tool and it simplifies everything in an impressive way. You can set up meetings with a large number of participants which really helps organize timing during daily use. It's very simple to use and helps cut down both work time and meeting length. The screen sharing feature is also a big advantage since it lets you quickly share any information that's needed.

Cons

I haven't come across any negative aspects while using this product.

“Quick adoption”

Pros

It's simple to use, there's a free plan available and the setup process doesn't take much effort. Adoption is also quick so it's not hard to get people comfortable with it.

Cons

I don't like the pricing in third-party regions like Africa where it can feel expensive because of unstable currency exchange rates. The mobile experience also needs work especially when it comes to sharing, hosting meetings and enabling screen-sharing permissions since those parts are not very user friendly.

Pros

Since most clients already use it, getting them into a meeting usually comes with fewer technical issues and a lot less hand-holding. The Google Calendar integration has also made scheduling much easier for me whether I'm setting up internal meetings or calls with external contacts.

Cons

There are a lot of settings that still feel unfamiliar to me. I mostly stick to the basic meeting features so a lot of the extra tools and options end up going unused.

Pros

Across our organization and others like it in the Balkans, this tool has become a go to app for communication and collaboration. Compared with other platforms it's more easy to use and it covers the core needs really well: video and audio meetings, teamwork features and chat. Those are essential tools and while plenty of competitors offer similar services, the system handles them exactly the way we need.

Cons

This app has been really solid and user friendly especially with everything going on right now. The only issue is that it can get a bit buggy sometimes with the audio when I'm using Bluetooth earphones.

Pros

During the pandemic, everyone had to get used to remote video meeting platforms pretty quickly. There are plenty of options out there but the software's feature set is something most people can learn without much time. It isn't the most accessible tool I've used though it's not overly complicated either. The meeting scheduling and calendar integration are especially useful since they let you arrange and share meeting details without bouncing between different apps.

Cons

A feature that feels a bit less polished is the virtual background option. It's a nice extra to have but it doesn't perform as cleanly as it does in some other, more advanced products. It's definitely not a deal breaker but to get the best effect you really need a consistent background. Otherwise, parts of your face or body can disappear depending on how you're positioned in front of the camera.

Pros

Even the less tech-savvy people in our group were able to pick this up without any trouble. Our board meetings dropped from 2+ hours to about 30-45 minutes because everything can be covered more efficiently, one person can clearly manage the flow of the discussion and documents can be shared right on the screen. Even after our organization became fully vaccinated, we kept using this software.

I don't have any complaints about the platform. We've been very happy with it.

This tool works really well for a wide range of situations. I use it for work meetings, school activities and even church community gatherings so it fits a lot of different needs. The audio and video quality are excellent which makes conversations feel reliable when connecting from a distance. It's also nice that you can use it for free or upgrade to a paid plan if you want access to more features. The chat and screen sharing tools are especially useful and having the option to record meetings is a big plus whenever I need to save something for later.

Cons

Setting up a chat room the first time could be clearer and a bit more organized for new users although after spending some time with the platform it becomes very simple to use. Some of the view settings also make the options bar harder to figure out while you're already on a call. I'd also prefer it if everyone joined muted by default and then unmuted when ready because it can be disruptive when people enter after the meeting has already started.

Getting started with the system was quick and keeping it up and running has been simple as well. I can use features like participant screen sharing, annotation controls and several other tools without any trouble, then adjust them based on the student I'm working with. That level of flexibility gives me much better control during sessions. Another big plus is being able to record meetings and capture natural moments that I can later turn into promotional material.

Cons

Issue I've noticed is that some participants run into screen-sharing problems when they're joining from a tablet.

This app is really easy to use especially for teams that are still adapting to remote work and getting comfortable with that environment.

At times, it needs quite a bit of bandwidth to run properly so how well it performs often depends on the user's internet connection.

It's free to access which is a big plus. The platform feels very user friendly and it also comes with several useful features, like being able to customize the chat room background.

There isn't much wrong with the software itself but I still prefer meeting in person. A lot of the time, sharing information through the software feels slower than presenting a PowerPoint face-to-face and pointing directly to the key details.

Was very easy to figure out and the tutorial made the setup process even more helpful. I also really appreciate that this platform emails the meeting link directly which makes joining sessions much more convenient. It's been a really effective way to handle virtual meetings and overall it feels much more personal and connected than just talking over the phone.

Cons

Connecting the tool with my company's setup was actually very simple but I do wish the video quality were a little better because it can look grainy at times. Changing my screen name and updating my background was also harder to figure out than I expected. Another issue was that both I and other participants sometimes stayed muted without realizing it and couldn't be heard. A feature that detects when you start speaking and prompts you to unmute would be really helpful.
