Abby Features
Online Invoicing And E-Signature
Abby features the ability to let users create quotes and invoices with customizable templates, send them by email, and collect payments through embedded links. It also supports electronic signatures on estimates and orders, which helps reduce disputes and speeds up client acceptance. This provides small businesses with a single place to issue, sign, and get paid.
Recurring Billing And Installments
The platform enables users to set invoice schedules for subscriptions or multi-stage projects. Abby automatically issues documents on schedule, supports installment payments, and sends reminders for overdue invoices. These features reduce manual follow-ups, limit late payments, and prevent cash flow gaps without constant oversight.
Bank Sync And Cash Tracking
Abby allows connection with business bank accounts for automated reconciliation. Transactions are categorized, and books of revenue and purchases are automatically updated. This functionality minimizes reliance on manual spreadsheets, simplifies accounting tasks, and saves time for both business owners and accountants during financial closeouts.
VAT And Urssaf Declaration Tools
The software helps manage value added tax (TVA) directly within invoices and declarations. For eligible home-service providers, Abby integrates with the Urssaf “tiers de prestation” API to automate immediate tax credit processes. This reduces administrative complexity and ensures compliance while keeping all tax management tools in one place.
Projects And Time Tracking
Users can track tasks and billable hours by project or client, then convert them into invoices. This feature provides visibility into effort, margins, and client profitability. Freelancers and small firms benefit by quoting more accurately on future work and identifying unprofitable projects before they consume too many resources.

“Very disappointed service”
Pros
Interface looks nice but for me it's not very practical. Getting used to it turned out to be quite complicated and required more effort than I initially expected, which slowed down my workflow more than I had hoped.
Cons
I feel like it's hard to get used to, the service isn't reliable and the support team won't bend, even when the bug is clearly their fault.

“No customer support”
Pros
The main advantage is its price but when it comes to invoicing, it doesn't meet my needs. The interface is difficult to use, payment management is basic, bugs appear frequently and overall it feels like a poorly coded solution.
Cons
I'm stuck with a bug that won't let me mark a deposit invoice as paid. The amounts all match perfectly, so no issue there. Now I'm just waiting on customer service but the real problem is no one's actually responding.

“Not fully featured”
Pros
I have figured out that it offers nothing more than its competitors and lacks detailed quarterly breakdowns of revenue by sales and service, which limits my ability to analyze the business effectively.
Cons
It doesn't handle VAT declaration timing correctly. Saying it's fully compliant isn't true. Importing invoices from a previous system is a pain, especially if they have both sales and services. It makes me think that no one tested it for people who sell and repair.
