“easy onboarding and detailed control”
Pros
Getting our engineering power users up and running with Admin by Request was much simpler than with any other privilege management tool we evaluated. The setup felt very user friendly, the recommended best practice settings were already selected by default and it still gave us very detailed control over files and applications for more complex elevation use cases.
Cons
Buying it took a little more time and effort than I expected. The quote to order process moved somewhat slowly and being able to purchase licenses directly would have been preferable although it wasn't a deal breaker.

“Remote installation without admin hassle”
Pros
It's been really useful for letting remote users with limited connectivity install or customize software without needing direct remote admin help every time.
Cons
Every now and then it doesn't behave the way it should and I end up uninstalling it, signing in as admin, installing the software manually and then reinstalling it. It's extremely uncommon though maybe around 1% of the time.

Pros
Adding new apps to the dashboard is easy and assigning admin rights to users has been hassle free. Plus the mobile app and Apple Watch support have been excellent too.
Cons
The initial setup was a bit challenging at first but the support team was very helpful in getting everything up and running. Once that was done using it became very simple.
