Crexi brings commercial property listings together with tools for managing property deals. Property owners and tenants use it for sales and leasing work across the US. Users find the software easy to navigate, although some would like more choices when searching and filtering properties. In 2026, Crexi added Crexi AI to assist with document processing and deal-related tasks.
Our Verdict
Crexi is a better fit for commercial real estate firms that work with property deals on a regular basis. Mid-sized and larger brokerages can use it for ongoing deal activity instead of occasional property searches. Smaller firms may want to weigh the subscription cost against their expected level of use. Crexi is more suited to commercial real estate teams than businesses focused on residential property.

Crexi Use Cases
Based on its real estate managing capabilities, Crexi fits many commercial workflows, some of them are:
Brokers Managing Diiferent Active Listings And Incoming Leads
Brokers with many listings may receive inquiries from different sources and spend time deciding which prospects are worth pursuing. Crexi PRO gives listings priority placement and includes artificial intelligence-powered lead matching for buyers and tenants. This can help brokers spend less time sorting inquiries and more time working on active deals.
Commercial Real Estate Investors Comparing Market Data And Properties
Investors reviewing a potential acquisition can find sales comparables and lease rates along with ownership contacts and demographic information in Crexi Intelligence. The service brings property records and lease data together for key markets. Population and income figures and traffic data are also available through maps for property and market comparisons.
Investment And Brokerage Teams Reviewing Offering Memorandums
Crexi Vault is designed for firms that review offering memorandums and other property documents. It was launched in October 2024. The tool extracts data from offering memorandums, lease abstracts, and rent rolls. During beta testing, users can process many documents, which saves them a lot of time.
Property Owners Running Competitive Online Auctions
Crexi Auction gives property owners an option when they want competitive bidding instead of a negotiated sale. It supports online bidding and reserve prices along with buyer qualification and non-contingent contracts. Some sales can close in as few as 30 days. Buyers can also participate without being in the same location as the property.
Tenant Representatives Searching Lease Space In Multiple Metropolitan Areas
Tenant representatives helping retailers enter new markets can search lease spaces through Crexi and compare properties by size and configuration. The lease marketplace covers spaces in key markets, while Crexi Intelligence adds demographic and traffic data. Brokers can review property details and market information when comparing locations for clients.

“Crexi TERRIBLE customer service”
Pros
Decent site if they didnt have high pressure sales contacts and contracts.
Cons
Crexi salespeople have called me consistently over the years trying to sell me even though I told them to stop calling. In October 2025, a Crexi sales rep Will Wedge contacted me to try and sell me membership. After saying no because I do not need a 12-month membership, he offered me 3 months instead and pressured me enough to say yes to 3 months. In March 2026, I realized I was still being charged $252/month, so I emailed Crexi to confirm cancel. I received a email from Crexi rep Emily Hays (ehays@crexi.com) saying I needed to contact them before 3 months was up to cancel, otherwise it renews for 12 months. This was NEVER verbalized to me when Will Wedge signed me up or I would never have signed up. There is also no option to cancel on the website, they make you call, which is difficult. Crexi refuses to let me know of this contract even though I don't use their platform and they promised me 3 months. One quick google search will show countless similar cases of angry customers getting scammed by this company. This company makes its money by locking customers into contracts that never wanted in the first place, and they have earned a terrible reputation because of it. I want my contract cancelled immediately.

“Like it so far”
Pros
I love that I can advertise listings, create flyers, research comps and even download the comps into a report. Plus the lead notices from Crexi are great for following up with potential clients.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that when downloading a comp report, there is no option to download a map that shows the geographic locations of the comps.

“Need leads and sales? Get it!”
Pros
As a Realtor focusing on ResiCom properties, Crexi has really changed the game for my business. It is very easy to use and has connected me with all sorts of buyers and investors especially in the multifamily and mixed-use markets.
Cons
It is a great platform overall but I have noticed that some of the leads it generates can be a bit hit or miss in terms of intent. Also it sometimes requires extra effort to determine how serious the leads are. And I feel like it would be nice if the interface offered more customization options especially for agents like me who specialize in niches like ResiCom real estate.
