Custom workflows and reports

Pros

It was probably the best part for me to start using it. Everything from the pipeline and workflows to the reporting felt very easy to use. I also really appreciated how much I could customize the interface because it let me tailor the software to fit our team so well that it almost felt built specifically for us and I could do all of that directly from my own computer.

Cons

One downside is the number of add-ons involved. I understand that's fairly common but if you want the complete experience, things like product lists, accounting features and marketing tools, you have to keep paying extra bit by bit. By the time you add everything you need, the total can get pretty high even more than many other CRMs which feels a little off for something that presents itself as free to get started.

perfect customer tracking

Pros

Right away, the platform makes it simple to build and manage a Kanban board directly inside the tool. It also gives the support team quick access to important customer details like phone numbers, account managers and contact history. On top of that, the interface feels very simple so finding the information you need doesn't take much effort.

Cons

One frustrating part is the amount of duplicate data between contacts and companies which means you have to pay close attention when searching for the right record. Setting up filters to pull specific information is also quite difficult and exporting data to spreadsheets is more complicated than it should be.

affordable tool

Pros

Having a free plan available to everyone is probably the biggest win here and it's honestly exceptional for what you get. The software comes packed with plenty of features that make it simple to stay on top of clients and quickly update details, dates, sales and meetings in just a few clicks. Moving my client list over from another app also went surprisingly fast and was done within a couple of hours.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about with this software. The only issue I've run into is that when I search for contacts from the tasks page, they don't always show up.

Remote sales lifesaver

Pros

Working in sales, being able to send and track emails with this tool has honestly been a lifesaver. I can't say enough good things about how much it has helped me and the rest of our team. Since we shifted to remote work, it's been the thing that keeps everyone connected and also helps us stay accountable.

Cons

One thing I still haven't figured out is whether there's a way to see which contacts have already been added to a sequence. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

All-in-one marketing platform

Pros

Having everything in one place is a huge plus with this software. Email marketing social media, SEO and reporting can all be handled here so it really feels like a complete marketing platform. On top of that, the customer support is excellent and the free training courses are genuinely top notch.

Cons

Honestly, I haven't run into any real problems with this software. It does exactly what I need it to do, works the way it's supposed to and anytime something comes up, the support team is quick to take care of it.

CRM done right

Pros

Even the free version delivers a lot of value for organizations that want a CRM set up properly from the beginning. The standard offering already covers what most teams need and there are upgrade options available to expand functionality across different parts of the business in one place. I've used quite a few CRM platforms and usually you get started only to realize later that you need to switch to something else. That seems much less likely with this one.

Cons

Up to this point, we really haven't run into any issues. The only thing we've had to think about is when it might make sense to upgrade for additional features and that has nothing to do with the core CRM itself.

Pros

Connecting it with websites across different platforms has been very easy and hassle-free.

Cons

The one area that could use improvement is how much control there is over form customization especially when working with CSS and JS files.

All-in-one CRM boost

Pros

This CRM has been a big help with my day-to-day work. It connects with a lot of the other tools I already use which keeps everything I'm working on together in one place and makes my routine much more manageable.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is stronger options for smaller teams although I get that the product is really built with much larger companies in mind.

Templates and contact details

Pros

Adding contacts is easy and there's plenty of detail you can include for each one. The email templates are really useful and the calendar appointment setup works very well too.

Cons

Quite a few features sit behind a paywall and the reporting feels tough to use. The core features cover a lot but there are still many areas that don't feel as complete. They do provide tons of training videos although it can be a lot of information to sort through.

Great for operations

Pros

Running all the operations for Aftontickets.com and Myafton.com, this has been a really valuable resource for our team.

Cons

One thing we realized along the way is that you don't necessarily need to pay for every automated feature, the free version is likely enough for most businesses.

Email campaign toolkit

Pros

Right after someone enters their details through the sign-up form, you can automatically send a welcome email which is a huge plus. The drag-and-drop builder is one of my favorite parts because it makes setting up campaigns much more manageable. There are also impressive email templates you can drag, customize and personalize to match your style. On top of that, it gives you access to campaign stats, reports and analytics so you can clearly track performance. Being able to use your own business domain is another valuable feature. It's very beginner-friendly and they even provide free training during sign-up to help you get everything configured from the start.

Cons

Up to this point, neither my team nor I have run into any issues with it. If there had been a problem, I'd honestly say so.

Great support and knowledge base

Pros

Getting started with this tool was very easy and the customer support has been outstanding. I was really happy with how quickly we got it to do exactly what we needed. Our sales team has also been genuinely impressed by the range of functionality it offers. One of the biggest strengths is the Knowledge Base which does a terrific job of keeping all the help content customers might need in one place. Adding new information and organizing it so customers can find it easily has been very simple and I'm sure our clients value that convenience.

Cons

At the beginning, we ran into a few minor glitches but those mostly came from not fully understanding the setup process on our side. Once we worked through that, we really haven't come across anything significant to complain about.

Client search tools

Pros

Whenever I need to check on clients or potential leads, this CRM does the job well. Searching through records is fairly easy and doesn't take much effort.

Cons

The way the information is displayed feels a bit wonky at times. It seems like the layout could be organized better.

Great features but frustrating workflow

Pros

Compared with the other free tools I tested, this one probably offers the most functionality once you manage to understand how it works. Adding new contacts is simple enough, importing them from a spreadsheet is fairly easy and it does a really nice job of letting you scan business cards directly into your contacts.

Cons

Using it does not feel simple at all. For most tasks, you end up digging around for tutorials just to figure out how to get things done. I also tried the marketing email feature and because of the triggers they have in place, I got permanently blocked from using it after the system decided some legitimate email addresses on my list were invalid or likely to bounce. That was incredibly frustrating. I'm also sure the software can do more than what I've used so far but the price is too high for me to justify buying it especially when I'm not confident it will actually handle the specific things I need. I also still have not found a categorization method that keeps the potential clients I need to follow up with at the top of my list. The available options just do not fit my business needs. There may be a way to do it but as I said, most features require too much searching around to learn and I simply do not have time for that. Another issue is that it does not auto-save so I have had to redo entries, notes and other work more times than I want to remember. If you forget to save, your work is just gone. On top of that, every instruction I have come across has been in video form. I would much rather have written step-by-step directions so I do not have to scrub through videos every time I need help with something I do not use daily. If written instructions exist, they are hidden somewhere that is not obvious because I have not been able to locate them. In some parts of the software, it is very flexible and lets you correct what you entered but in other parts it is much less forgiving. Also, you have to manually remember to check the box for auto-posting a follow-up instead of having that setting checked by default.

Sales and marketing hub

Pros

For anyone working in sales and marketing, this system feels like a real lifesaver. It keeps everything organized, regulated and much simpler to handle. Once it's set up, all that's left is to make use of it.

Cons

One thing to keep in mind is that the large number of tools can feel a bit overwhelming at first for a new user. That said, after a quick walkthrough of the system, it becomes much easier to understand where everything is and how it works.

simple marketing tool

Pros

Running this tool has been a really positive experience. It's very user-friendly and offers most of the same functions you'd expect from other expensive marketing automation platforms on the market. It works especially well for small to mid-sized businesses and the free version is a nice bonus. The email integration is great and the overall interface feels very simple.

Cons

The premium version can get a bit expensive. It also lacks some deeper features which can make it feel slightly less reliable in certain situations. Most things work well overall but some of the paid services push the cost up more than expected.

Lead tracking wins

Pros

Right from the start, the system feels simple and easy to use. It includes all the categories I need when entering new lead details and the customizable headings are a nice touch. The email tracking feature is one of my favorite parts because timing matters so much in sales. Being able to see when a client opens an email and call them immediately makes it much easier to answer questions in real time. I also really appreciate being able to call directly from the CRM. When you are working through a long list of leads, skipping the step of dialing manually saves a lot of time and it is very convenient to log everything discussed during the call straight into their profile.

Cons

One area that feels a bit tedious is the sales pipeline and logging information after a deal has already been closed. Since many of my clients usually confirm acceptance by email, it would be much better if those details could be captured through the Gmail integration instead.

Scalable marketing with training

Pros

If a business needs to get its online marketing organized, this is a really great choice. There's plenty of training, the content is excellent and the platform is fairly user-friendly overall. It also grows with you so you can begin with a smaller setup and move into bigger lists and added features as the business expands. The it Academy is also a valuable bonus for keeping marketing staff current and informed.

Cons

It comes with the usual SaaS concerns, like data security and how easily you can move to another platform later on. There are also a lot of features packed in which can make the learning curve steeper than it probably needs to be. That said, online marketing is naturally complex and despite that, this platform is still much easier to work with than many of the alternatives.
