Free plan with call tracking

Pros

Right out of the gate, it covers pretty much everything you need and for free software that's honestly impressive. We eventually moved to a paid plan to get call logging and tracking which has been really useful for reviewing calls although that feature is only offered in the U.S. and not in Canada.

Cons

Not being able to record calls for Canadian leads is definitely frustrating. On top of that, interaction logging can be a little buggy at times and managing duplicate leads is a bit of a hassle.

Quick onboarding and setup

Pros

It was quick to start and it connected without any hassle. It's also very simple to use.

Cons

I do wish it offered more integrations but aside from that it's been amazing. On the marketing side, I still had to rely on Outreach to send email templates to multiple people at once.

Customer support that delivers

Pros

One of the best parts of using this software has been the customer support. We meet with them every week and it's clear how much effort they put into keeping their customers happy. That level of dedication really makes a difference and adds a lot of value to the overall experience.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have anything to complain about. Even when there's a feature we're hoping for that they don't have yet, I'm confident it's already being worked on.

Simple interface and training

Pros

Right away, the interface felt very easy. There's a lot included but the training resources are really helpful for getting started so the learning curve doesn't feel overwhelming for long.

Cons

The integration process with our existing data and systems was challenging although that wasn't necessarily the software's fault. We had been working across too many different systems and despite that, it still did a very helpful job bringing everything together.

Customizable interface

Pros

The interface looks really good and it can be customized to match our business needs fairly well.

Cons

A few basic features are still missing. For instance, there's no way to view the original timestamp for when a task was first created. It also gets quite expensive once your contact list starts growing.

Sales tracking done right

Pros

Everything needed to manage, monitor and report on sales activity across the team is brought together really well in this CRM. The built-in email tracking performs reliably and unlike other tools I've used before, it doesn't clutter email threads with ugly tracking links.

Cons

A few features around logging contacts under their parent and sub-companies didn't feel fully optimized.

Automated but impersonal

Pros

The software offers a wide range of features and the product is well known in the market.

Cons

The sales process feels automated and completely impersonal. Read the contract very carefully because once you agree, there is absolutely no possible recourse.

Great value for our firm

Pros

Having all the features our law firm needs available for free has been a huge win. We used paid software before but since we had a lot of users and most CRMs charge per user, the cost kept adding up. After discovering HubSpot, we decided to test it out and after two years of using it, we've been very happy with the switch.

Cons

There isn't a easy way to quickly spot deals that have no action assigned. It's also not simple to filter deals that have been sitting in the same stage for too long.

Control and forecasting

Pros

It works really well for managing both team tasks and outcomes and the forecasting and marketing features are also very useful.

Cons

It still needs better reporting tools, along with a way to congreatate all data points from marketing channels through to the final results of those campaigns.

Automation and integrations

Pros

With its wide range of integrations and features, this stands out as one of the top marketing and sales automation tools available, if not the very best.

Cons

Creating quotes can be a bit confusing at times because of all the prompts you have to click through though we've adjusted to it over time and it's become more manageable with regular use.

User-friendly and valuable

Pros

Platform has been very user-friendly and offers excellent value for money. The functionality covers what I need, customer service responds well to inquiries and the integration with other platforms is a big plus.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the way contacts are added. At the moment, first names and surnames have to be entered separately. It would save time if full names could simply be copied and pasted, then automatically split into first name and surname.

Task management winner

Pros

Right from the start, this software has been excellent at what it's built to do. It has genuinely helped me handle many of my day-to-day tasks in a very efficient and effective way. The interface feels very simple so getting the hang of it doesn't take much effort at all.

Cons

Even though just about everything else is top-notch, as a marketer I do feel the pricing is a bit on the expensive side.

Feature-packed and time-saving

Pros

Best of all, it's free to use for life. It also comes with a wide range of features that can be useful for almost any business. Their JavaScript makes it possible to track website conversions and being able to send emails directly from the CRM after setting up email integrations saves a lot of time.

Cons

It's a really great piece of software overall. The only downside is that handling so many features can sometimes feel a bit too complicated.

Better deal tracking

Pros

Being a cloud-based CRM, the interface keeps getting updated based on user feedback so it's constantly improving and becoming more user-friendly. It's also a really effective way to stay on top of open deals with customers which helps build stronger connections and creates a better overall sales experience.

Cons

Because everything runs online in the cloud, you're pretty much stuck waiting if your internet goes down or if their servers have problems until the issue gets resolved.

All-in-one platform

Pros

Having sales, marketing and customer service connected in one platform has been a big advantage. I've used this software for nearly three years and it's been impressive to see how much it has continued to evolve over time.

Cons

One downside is the contact limit in the CRM. Once you add too many contacts, extra charges kick in after a certain threshold so you have to regularly go in and remove inactive contacts to avoid paying more.

Clean design and support

Pros

One thing that really stands out to me is how polished the platform looks and how well the layout is put together. The design feels thoughtful and never gets in the way of actually using the features and functions. Another big plus is the support they offer. I much prefer chat support over having to make a phone call or wait on an email so having that option available is a huge benefit and it's nice that both options are there. On top of that, their education resources are incredibly helpful. I attended a training class in Chicago that was extremely useful and they also offer a large library of helpful training videos in it Academy.

Cons

The part I struggle with most is being billed based on the number of contacts. I understand why they do it but I'm still not fully confident about how to handle people who have opted out and move them to a list that keeps them opted out without affecting our contact count. That process feels a bit intimidating because I really don't want to make a mistake. The only other issue I've run into is that automatically merging contacts can be difficult.

simple and effective

Pros

This tool felt incredibly simple to work with. It lets me move fast and stay productive, whether I'm making phone calls, sending a large number of emails, logging notes or tagging teammates with notifications. Honestly, it's the best thing ever and I'm sure I wouldn't be nearly as effective using a different tool.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have any complaints. It does exactly what I need it to do.

Tracking and planning tools

Pros

Beyond its overall capabilities, the software includes a lot of useful tools for tracking stats, monitoring potential customers and setting goals for the future.

Cons

One thing that would make it even better is a monthly email that shares the latest updates or asks for feedback on recent improvements to the software.

Organized across territories

Pros

Working across businesses throughout the US and internationally, this along with Sales Hub does a really good job of keeping everything organized. Built-in tools like tasks, reminders, website views and the other features make it much easier to manage such a large territory. The LinkedIn Sales Navigator integration is also a big time-saver since I don't have to keep jumping between different platforms. I also keep up with the Sales Blog and it regularly gives me fresh ideas for my outreach efforts.

Cons

Every now and then, a feature doesn't work the way it should but users are notified about outages quickly and the team usually puts a fix together fast.
