offers free plan with integrations

Pros

The free-forever plan is very competitive and the platform is simple to use and understand. It also connects with a large number of third-party apps which makes it even more useful.

Cons

One downside is that the free plan does not include telephone support and the premium plans can get expensive.

Integrations for small teams

Pros

This CRM does a really good job of bringing a lot of integrations together which is fantastic for small businesses that want to align their processes and keep everything connected in one place.

Cons

The platform can feel a bit scattered at times so it is not always my favorite to navigate and it definitely takes time to learn. The onboarding team also needs to be more involved in helping new customers understand how to use the software after purchasing it.

ROI in one dashboard

Pros

Return on investment and overall value are really impressive for teams trying to bring their marketing and sales funnel together. Having one central dashboard that connects multiple modules like marketing, sales, CMS and service is something I really appreciate.

Cons

Costs start to feel high once you add more offerings and the team gets bigger. At that price level, it seems like some enterprise CRM platforms may be a better fit.

Free CRM setup

Pros

Compared with other CRMs, this is one of the few platforms I was actually able to start using without bringing in professional help. Just by following their videos and articles, I managed to put together a simple, capable and free CRM setup. It definitely takes some time and patience to get everything configured but it's absolutely doable. That's a big contrast to tools like Salesforce and similar CRMs which I've felt are basically impossible to work with as a starter CRM.

Cons

Email integration is strong but the task management and reminder tools still need quite a bit of improvement. Since it's free, I can't be too harsh about that. The pricing is also a bit confusing because there are so many features and bundles to sort through. It gets even less clear because they also sell marketing services. On top of that, the dashboard isn't the most simple when it comes to setup. That said, all of these criticisms are in absolute terms, when I compare it with other CRMs, it still feels lightyears easier to use.

marketing automation needs improvement

Pros

It came bundled with the Enterprise version and included a 90% discount for new users which made it very affordable to get started. I used it a lot and it handled the basic tasks well enough. In the end, it did what I needed at that price point.

Cons

One thing that never really worked out for me was the marketing automation. I just couldn't get it set up properly because the parameters are far too complicated to configure.

Enrollment pipeline tracking

Pros

One thing we appreciate most is how well it lets us monitor exactly where we are throughout the enrollment pipeline management process.

Cons

We honestly do not have any complaints about it. It keeps our enrollment work organized and helps us stay focused the whole way through.

Daily client tracking

Pros

Every day, I rely on it to keep track of the clients and prospects I'm working with. It makes it simple to log notes from each interaction and set reminders for what I need to follow up on the next time I reach out.

Cons

There's also a feature that's meant to show which visitors come to your website but the report gives very limited detail. I didn't find that part of the tool very helpful.

Reliable contact management

Pros

Over the years, I've used it both personally to organize my own contacts and professionally for my clients and it has been consistently useful in both cases. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to manage contacts across the board.

Cons

I also really valued having access to the Academy. Learning how to use the Inbound methodology feels essential and that training was a big benefit.

Deal tracking and campaigns

Pros

Keeping tabs on deals is really convenient and the marketing campaign tools, reminders and Gmail integration make day-to-day work much more organized.

Cons

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve and certain features can be tricky to locate at first but the chat support helps you get answers pretty quickly.

User-friendly email builder

Drag-and-drop email builder makes creating emails very simple and easy to use.

Email automation still has room for improvement. I'd rather see it work more like Pardot's setup.

Quality workflows

Pros

The system supports high-quality workflows, with app integrations and collaborative channels that work really well.

Cons

Reporting area still needs more work. There aren't enough options for custom metrics and fields that fall outside the original documents.

Email tracking visibility

Pros

One of the best parts is that it automatically captures all our email interactions while still letting us control exactly whose activity gets recorded and whose doesn't. That gives me a clean, easy history of every engagement without relying on the wider team to go back later and add notes which usually either never gets done or happens far too late to be useful.

Cons

There are so many features packed into it that knowing where to begin can be difficult. The training also felt very much like, "what do you want to do?" which makes me think we probably aren't using the platform as well as we could be and might be overlooking some really valuable functionality.

Perfect CRM starter

Pros

Starting with the free plan was a really smart way for us to build good customer data habits from the beginning while growing the business. A lot of entrepreneurs overlook how valuable a great CRM is and end up losing important customer information along the way. We began on the free package and once the company expanded, upgrading made sense because we needed the extra features.

Cons

Moving from the free version to a paid plan is quite a big step and for a small team it can be hard to justify the cost.

Company activity tracking

Pros

It's a useful tool for monitoring a company's movement and helps support the further development of its activities.

Cons

Great tool but I think for someone without experience, the app feels quite confusing and people who aren't trained really can't use it properly.

Helpful content and support

Pros

There's an impressive amount of free content available and the Marketing Academy is especially valuable. Customer service has also been consistently helpful and responsive.

Cons

It just doesn't feel like the right fit for a small business. If you want access to the more useful tools and need to manage a large contact list, the cost becomes too high.

Modern customizable CRM

Pros

Right from the start, it feels simple to use and the level of customization is broad enough to handle just about anything you can think of for sales and pipeline management. It's a really capable CRM, has a modern and polished look and the mobile app performs well too.

Cons

The pricing is geared more toward established companies so bootstrapped startups may see it as a bit expensive.

Revenue forecasting

Pros

When we rolled this out at our company, our top goals were to connect revenue back to marketing efforts and give the sales team a stronger way to forecast. It has helped us focus on both of those priorities.

Cons

One frustrating part is the revenue-to-marketing attribution. We were very clear from the beginning that we needed to tie revenue back to marketing activities. The platform we bought can technically do this but the version we have requires a lot of manual work. To get the automated functionality we originally asked for, we would have to pay much more than we do now. That came down to a mistake from the salesperson. We were offered a discount to turn that feature on but it is still expensive so for now we are handling the process manually.
