Devastating loss of client data

Pros

Pipedrive used to be the CRM I relied on for keeping all of my client notes organized and for a long time it was the system I chose to trust with that information. Unfortunately, that trust was shattered when they lost my data, admitted the mistake in writing and then only offered to reimburse 50% of a single year of service despite the fact that I lost six years of irreplaceable records. From my perspective, that response did not come close to matching the value of what was taken from my business.

Cons

What really pushed me to this point is that Pipedrive lost more than six years of my client notes and this was not minor information. In those records, I had personal details about clients such as their likes, dislikes, their kids' names, their spouses' names and countless other notes that helped me build real business relationships over time. I even have written confirmation from them acknowledging that they were responsible, yet because some of the other features of the platform were still functioning, they decided that half of one year's subscription fee was somehow adequate compensation. As a paying user, I find that unacceptable because a CRM's most basic responsibility, in my opinion, is to protect the customer data entrusted to it. I am sharing this because people deserve to know how my data was handled and how little accountability I experienced afterward. At this point, I am beyond frustrated and deeply disappointed as a customer.

Excellent for tracking deals

Pros

I have been using Pipedrive for quite some time now and in my experience, it works really well for keeping a clear track of the entire sales pipeline and all ongoing deals. From what I have seen, it helps me stay organized and makes it much easier to monitor where every opportunity stands.

Cons

So far I really haven't run into any major issues with the software. For my needs, it seems to be working well and pretty much covers the requirements I expect from a CRM.

Love the tracking tools

Pros

The email link tracking and the automation features are the best. They've been genuinely useful in my day to day work and I can keep a much better eye on engagement while also cutting down on repetitive manual tasks. those tools make the whole sales process feel a lot more efficient and manageable.

Cons

Deleted deals still end up creating activities on my to-do list. That part has been frustrating because I expect removed deals to stop generating follow-up tasks. In my experience it creates unnecessary clutter and makes it a little harder to stay organized.

Love the flexible pipeline setup

Pros

Thanks to this tool I have been able to keep track of my contacts and manage my sales pipeline far more efficiently than I did before switching to it. The drag-and-drop layout makes moving deals around feel natural and I didn't need much time to get comfortable with it. On top of that, I have appreciated how much I can customize the system, because it lets me shape the CRM around the way I actually work instead of forcing me into a complex setup.

Cons

One thing that has been a bit disappointing for me is the reporting side of Pipedrive. While I do get some helpful insights from the reports it offers, the overall reporting tools still feel fairly limited. Compared with some competing CRM platforms I have looked at, the level of detail just isn't as deep so I sometimes find myself wanting more advanced data and better reporting options.

Faster work with useful reports

Pros

The main reason I feel less drained at the end of the workday is how much effort Pipedrive saves me in my daily work. Its reporting tools are really helpful and I can get things done much faster without feeling like I have to struggle through every step. the platform is user friendly and the speed at which I can complete tasks makes a noticeable difference in my workflow.

Cons

That said I have still run into a few drawbacks while using it. Some features feel like they still need further development and there are times when the program freezes or pauses for a few seconds and occasionally even for minutes. In my case, those interruptions can be frustrating when I am trying to keep my work moving.

highly customizable tool

Pros

I really like how user friendly the interface feels and from the start it was simple for me to navigate. What stood out even more was how customizable it is which let me adapt it to the way I actually work. I am honestly won over by how easy and uncomplicated the whole experience is.

Cons

At this point, I don't really have any major complaints to mention. Once I got familiar with how everything works, the platform performed really well for me and did exactly what I needed it to do.

pipeline that boosts sales

Pros

The first thing I have to say is that Pipedrive feels very simple to use and incredibly user friendly. From the moment I set it up, I noticed my sales process started improving because it gave me much better organization in my day to day work. What I really like is that I can build different stages in my sales pipeline which helps me clearly see where each client is in the process and what I need to do next to move them forward. Another part I genuinely love about Pipedrive is how well it connects with other tools I already use. For example, I can link my email and keep track of the messages I send which gives me much better visibility into my communication with customers. On top of that, I am able to sync my calendar and check upcoming events and pending tasks directly inside the platform so everything stays in one place and I don't have to jump between different apps.

Cons

One drawback I have noticed is that Pipedrive can feel a bit expensive for small businesses or entrepreneurs who are just getting started. While it does offer a free version, the available features are quite limited and if I want access to the more advanced tools, I have to pay for a monthly subscription.Even though it gives me a decent amount of flexibility to adjust the sales pipeline, I still find some restrictions when it comes to customization. For instance, I would really like the option to create custom fields so I can collect more specific information about my clients but that doesn't seem to be available in the current version.

Really user-friendly crm

Pros

What stands out to me about Pipedrive CRM is how user friendly it feels in daily use. I can get around the system without any hassle and that makes the whole experience much more comfortable and enjoyable for me.

Cons

With this product, I spend far less time handling CRM tasks which gives me more room to focus on other responsibilities. that time savings has been a real advantage in my day to day work.

Reliable crm with useful add-ons

Pros

It does exactly what it promises which is something I really appreciate in day to day use. For what comes with the standard setup, it covers the core needs well and when I have needed more, there have been plenty of add-ons and upgrade options available. That flexibility has been really helpful because it means I can expand the functionality instead of feeling stuck when the basic license doesn't quite cover everything I need.

Cons

What has held me back a bit is the forecasting and reporting side of the platform. In my experience those features just haven't been strong enough for what we need internally. Because of that, we've had to rely on Grow to build and access the reports that actually work for our business which adds an extra step that I wish wasn't necessary.

Quick setup and a decent ui

Pros

From my experience using Pipedrive CRM, I found it simple to learn and pretty easy to put into place. The interface also feels decent and clean enough that I can get around without much trouble which helped me start using it without a long adjustment period.

Cons

What bothered me though, is that a lot of the plugins require extra payment to use and that adds up fast. I also felt that it is not always very clear how all the different parts connect together so understanding the full workflow took me longer than I expected.

Solid for structured sales pipelines

Pros

From what I have seen, Pipedrive really leans into multi-stage sales workflows which can be a strong fit for teams that manage longer, more structured deals. In my experience though, it may not be the best match for sales teams that usually close deals very quickly since the platform seems more geared toward a step-by-step pipeline approach.

Cons

One thing I'd really like is the ability to send video messages to customers directly through the app, because that would make communication feel more personal. I have also found that sorting fields can make setting up reports more complicated than it should be which can slow things down when I am trying to configure them.

Customer satisfaction and solid returns

Pros

What I appreciated most about Pipedrive was how quickly it helped me keep customers satisfied and I also felt confident about the profitability I was getting in return for the service provided. it really gave me the sense that the value delivered matched the investment which made using it feel worthwhile.

Cons

That said I have to admit I ran into bugs fairly often. In my case though some of those issues could probably be blamed on the internet connection or the environment the service was being accessed from, rather than being entirely caused by the platform itself.

Project tool misses the mark

Pros

I have had a decent experience with the lead generation forms and I also find the web visitors tool quite useful in day to day work.

Cons

What really let me down was the recently launched project management tool. In my experience it feels disjointed and poorly put together and it ends up creating more problems than value. I was hoping to use it as a true all-in-one system but it just doesn't deliver on that promise.

Effective lead generation tools

Pros

Pipedrive CRM is a really strong option for lead generation. What stood out to me first was how engaging and appealing the forms look which in my experience helps keep potential customers interested and improves retention. I also like using the live chat feature because it does a great job of answering customer questions quickly while helping build trust and interest at the same time. Another thing I appreciate is that the pro version gives me a useful way to manage the most active leads more efficiently.

Cons

What holds it back for me is that there are a lot of competing apps out there that come in at a lower price. I also feel the live chat tools are not as advanced as what some other providers offer. the chat disconnects in the middle of a conversation and that can mean losing a potential client which is frustrating. On top of that, creating forms from scratch has felt a bit challenging even though there are several saved templates available to work with.

Handy sales tracking on mobile

Pros

I found it really simple to set up an account for sales management in Pipedrive and that stood out to me right away because the platform comes with a lot of useful features. What I also like is that it's available on Android which makes lead management much more convenient for me when I am not at my desk.

Cons
