August Health Use Cases
Based on our analysis of August Health’s current capabilities and senior living operational needs, we have identified several scenarios where this software is a strong fit for organizations managing resident care, compliance, and community operations:
Assisted Living Communities Managing Higher Resident Acuity
Assisted living operators often face growing care complexity while trying to maintain efficient staffing models. As residents require more frequent assessments and medication management, manual processes can create delays. August Health can be well-suited for communities that need a more organized way to track changing resident needs while keeping care teams aligned throughout the day.
Multi-Community Senior Living Groups Seeking Operational Visibility
Organizations overseeing multiple communities commonly struggle to compare occupancy trends, incident rates, staffing demands, and care performance across locations. When each site works in separate systems, leadership may lack timely supervision. August Health can support these groups by centralizing operational data, helping regional leaders identify underperforming areas and make faster portfolio-level decisions.
Memory Care Providers Requiring Consistent Documentation
Memory care environments depend on accurate records and behavioral observations that need to be communicated in timely manner between shifts. Inconsistent charting can lead to missed context around resident changes or care preferences. August Health is a practical option for providers that need structured documentation processes and clearer continuity of care in settings where resident conditions can change quickly.
Communities Modernizing Resident Move-In Processes
Move-ins often involve lengthy paperwork, family coordination, and repeated follow-up for incomplete forms or signatures. It can delay occupancy readiness and create a poor first impression for incoming residents. August Health can be a strong fit for communities looking to replace paper-heavy admissions workflows with a more organized onboarding experience for staff and families.
Senior Living Operators Connecting Care Delivery With Billing
Many communities lose time reconciling care changes and room moves with monthly billing cycles. When clinical and financial systems are disconnected, missed charges or manual corrections become more common. August Health can help operators achieve closer alignment between resident care activities and billing accuracy without relying on multiple disconnected tools.
Is August Health Right For You?
If your organization operates assisted living or memory care communities, August Health may be a strong fit because it was built specifically for senior living workflows. Its connected EHR, eMAR, billing, and move-in tools can reduce staff time spent switching between systems.
Trusted by prominent clients like Bickford Senior Living and Koelsch Communities, it supports rapid deployment across multiple sites while maintaining consistent care quality. Additionally, the software is HIPAA, SOC 1, and SOC 2 compliant, ensuring the security of confidential data. With the platform's strong focus on scalability and security, August Health EHR is well-suited for organizations aiming to modernize their operations efficiently.
