What Is Healthie?
Healthie is a cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) and practice management platform designed for health and wellness professionals. It brings clinical charting, scheduling, billing, and client engagement into one platform, so clinicians and growing practices manage the full client relationship from a single dashboard. The platform also handles routine tasks automatically, which frees up more time for direct patient care.
What Is Healthie Best Known For?
‘AI Scribe’ is one of the standout features of the software. It drafts chart notes automatically during a session. Furthermore, it listens through voice input as the provider talks with the patient and turns that conversation into a structured note in real time, with no manual typing needed afterward. This built-in templating keeps notes consistent across visits. This way, providers can leave the after-hours charting behind and actually be present with the patient in front of them.
How Much Does Healthie Cost?
Healthie pricing starts at $19.99/month for the Core plan. Notable features included in this plan are 10 active users, scheduling, payment, client portal, charting, and more. The vendor also offers three other standard pricing options, such as:
- Essentials – $49.99/month
- Plus – $129.99/month
- Group – $149.99+/month
A 14-day free trial is available.

Healthie Use Cases
Based on what we analyze across multiple reviews and Healthie features set, these are the key scenarios where this software tends to be a suitable fit.
Practices Managing In-House Insurance Claims
Medical practices who provide specialized treatment protocols such as low dose naltrexone (LDN), often need to track and submit claims through separate billing services. With built-in ‘Claims Processing’, Healthie lets providers submit and manage claims within the same platform. One reviewer mentioned that using claim processing to manage daily workflows was one of the simpler processes.
Solo Practitioners Handling Independent Healthcare Operations
Solo and independent practitioners usually manage patient information, appointments, and ongoing communication without a larger administrative team behind them. Healthie suits this kind of practice because it brings patient intake, record keeping, client communication, and portal access into one system. One user mentioned that the platform gave them the core tools needed to run their boutique practice, covering everything from scheduling and patient communication to collecting information.
Multi-Discipline Group Practices Organizing Patient Care
Healthie can work well for practices that bring together dietitians, mental health providers, and physical therapists under one roof. Its customizable charting templates let each discipline set up its own documentation format inside the same client record, with wearable data syncing into that file rather than sitting in a separate log. This way, it becomes easier for multi-discipline practices to keep every provider's notes in one place without managing separate systems for each specialty.
High-Volume Specialty Clinics Centralizing Multiple Operations
For weight loss and medical spa practices currently running scheduling, billing, and charting as separate systems, Healthie is worth considering. It brings all three functions under a single login, so staff don't have to re-enter the same patient data across disconnected tools as patient volume grows.
Fully Remote Wellness Coaching Engaging Multi-Location Clients
Keeping remote clients engaged between sessions is a real challenge for any coach who never sees clients in person. Healthie's client portal addresses that directly by holding lab results, session resources, and messaging in one place clients can check on their own. The mobile app extends that access further, giving clients a way to stay connected outside scheduled calls rather than relying on a separate resource site.
Is Healthie Right For You?
Healthie is good choice for organization who are looking for reliable solution to simplify their health and wellness practice. The platform holds certification standards for data security and privacy, including GDPR compliance and certifications such as SOC 2, HITRUST, and ONC. The vendor also stores data securely in facilities protected by biometric security, continuous surveillance, and disaster recovery plans.
Additionally, the Health and Human Services (HHS) has proposed an update to the HIPAA Security Rule that would make multi-factor authentication mandatory across healthcare software, and Healthie already enforces MFA account-wide. Organizations such as Hinge Health, Two Chairs, and Nourish are notable clients of this software.

Healthie Features
Scheduling
Healthie lets patients book appointments directly through the website or the patient portal, with confirmations, reminders, and paperwork sent out automatically. The calendar syncs with Google, iCal, and Outlook, so every booking stays visible across providers and locations. This cuts down the back-and-forth of manual booking and keeps a practice's calendar organized without extra staff time.
Billing
This feature stores client credit card, HSA, FSA, and insurance details securely within the platform, ready for one-time payments, recurring charges, or service packages. Providers can trigger charges automatically after a session or schedule them in advance. This keeps payment collection inside the same system as scheduling and charting, instead of a separate processor.
Patient Portal
The tool provides clients their own portal that lets them message provider, share documents, and log journal entries, alongside handling bookings and payment details. Organizations can also track the progress of individuals and teams over time using personalized dashboards. This way patients can manage their care between visits from one place, instead of using multiple apps.
Telehealth And Webinars
This tool runs video sessions through HIPAA-compliant Zoom, connected directly to scheduling, charting, and billing. Joining takes one click from a computer, tablet, or phone, and providers can pull up chart notes mid-call. Group webinars use the same setup at no added cost, so a practice can host larger sessions without separate software.
Claims And Insurance
Healthie runs insurance eligibility checks and claims submission through a ClaimMD connection, pulled directly from a client's profile. Claim status and reimbursement details come back in real time, without leaving the platform. This brings insurance work into the same system as billing, instead of a separate portal or manual fax process.
Workflow Automation
The system automatically triggers intake documents, reminders, confirmations, and portal invites once a patient books an appointment. Providers can create tasks, set priority levels or due dates, and assign them to team members. Smart fields also pull data from intake forms to pre-fill charts and billing, cutting repetitive entry work.

“Complete patient information visibility”
Pros
With this system I can view all patient details in one place. I'm able to see past visits, check which medications were sent and update patient information whenever changes are needed.
Cons
Sometimes it frustrates me that there are things I cannot edit especially once a patient's chart is locked. If a chart is accidentally closed without updating I have to create a new one to leave a note.

“modern tools for patient engagement”
Pros
Using this tool has given me great tools to keep my patients involved and learning between visits without extra manual work. Coming from a more traditional, clinically focused EHR this platform gives my practice what it needs to stay competitive in a more modern tech space.
Cons
The only complaint I have is that I can't access the calendar to schedule follow-up appointments while on a telehealth call.

“easy navigation and secure sharing”
Pros
Overall I enjoy working with this tool because it's easy to move around, build forms and share information with clients securely. My subscription includes secure messaging and calling and depending on the plan, faxing as well. The value feels strong for what's included, especially with payment handling working efficiently and the ability to connect with other providers in the community. Support has also been reliable and customizing forms with my branding has been a big plus.
Cons
What bothers me is having to copy customized forms and send them to clients individually. There might be an easier way but I haven't explored it yet.
