“The apple of HR software”

Pros

our team didn't need any training to use the self-service portal. Everyone appreciates being able to handle everything from applications and onboarding to PTO requests and updating their tax info or direct deposit details all in one place. I'd describe it as the Apple equivalent of HR software, sleek and simple. We recently migrated our payroll here and the process was seamless. Communication was transparent, expectations were clear and we had zero hiccups during the transition. Our first payroll run and subsequent ones have been flawless. We're planning to add the benefits module soon too. What I value most is there customer support, multiple contact options are available but the chat feature is fantastic for getting instant help from a rep.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it.

Pros

The interface is really interactive and makes everything so easy to use. Time tracking couldn't be easier and I'm impressed with how well it handles data management. The reporting features are incredibly simple to work with and no complicated setup required.

support team is rarely available when you need them.

Pros

I appreciate being able to handle everything in one place, from managing my dependents' details to requesting overtime pay. It's convenient having all these features together.

Cons

Not having a mobile version is a big limitation for me. When I'm away from my desk, I'm completely cut off from getting any work done in the system.

Pros

I like how much information is readily accessible and the projected time off balances are particularly useful. Everything is well-organized and easy to use, making it simple to find what I need quickly.

Cons

I wish there was a way to clock out for lunch that displays how long the break has been running. It would also be helpful to see a daily running total of hours worked right on the home page.

Makes daily tasks simple for both admins and regular users with its clean, interactive design.

Cons

It's difficult for me to see the history of a report. I want to easily check past information but navigating to it is complicated.

Pros

I love how I can keep track of holidays, overtime and time off all in one place. The document upload feature is super handy and having quick access to my team advisers' contact info makes communication so much easier.

I have had a negative experience as they misled me during the sales process.

Its not the best for performance management, despite claims of being the best HRIS solution.

Implementing and using BambooHR has been a hassle free task. It is easy to roll out and navigate and the help guides are very user-friendly.

Cons

It could benefit from more basic features. I had to request additions like notice periods.

The onboarding features are very intuitive. We can easily see when someone is out of the office, track new hires, welcome them, and post announcements across the company. BambooHR is superb for all these functions and more!

Cons

More customization options for signature documents and performance review templates would be very helpful.

I love that BambooHR functions as a versatile HR management system that is very easy to integrate. Its onboarding features work like a database which makes our hiring process much simpler.

Cons

Its essential to have a trained team and ensure ongoing training because those unfamiliar with the basics might disrupt the setup. It can get complicated.

It is great for keeping track of employees, managing onboarding and signing documents.

I had an issue with overtime status, but otherwise it seems okay.

Pros

Only been using BambooHR for a few months, but I find it very user-friendly as compared to other systems I have used. The ATS, onboarding and employee file features work well for us.

Cons

I do not see any major issues with this tool. My only observation is that this system might be better suited for smaller companies.

I have used features like clock-in/clock-out, timesheet management, leave management, workflow approvals and communication tools. We also receive company announcements and news through this system. I submit my leave requests here, and my managers review and approve them.

There are limitations when it comes to integrating with other tools.

I experience it as an easy to use solution and simple to set up additional sections and tables.

Cons

I cannot generate reports for files like certifications or training. The reports only include dates, and each file has to be searched individually. For example, pulling multiple certificates of sexual harassment training for audit purposes is cumbersome.

The app is really good and I can easily locate documents.

But a bit difficult to locate my salary information. I also wish it included all our benefit options.

BambooHR allows me to generate all kinds of useful reports and analytics which makes it feel like I have a personal data assistant right at my fingertips.

The mobile app could use some improvements since it does not offer all the features available on the desktop version.
