“Quick but the new look is different
Pros
The platform is really easy to use, with an interface that makes it simple to navigate and find what we need. Also it is optimized for quick loading which is super helpful.
Cons
I was not fond of some of the recent visual updates. It also does not offer much flexibility for customizing the interface to suit personal preferences.

“Good reports but a big payroll mistake
Pros
The ability to create custom reports is a great feature. I use this function quite often!
Cons
It still has not resolved an ongoing issue we have that is a non-taxable reimbursement is being included in the gross income summary on pay stubs, when it should not be. This has created problems for employees who need to report income for government benefits as eligibility is often based on that gross income figure.

Pros
It is a comprehensive platform that's easy to navigate. The design is simple and great for managing employee profiles, attendance and training. Also it is very easy to learn.
Cons
Occasionally there is a slight delay when loading documents or during new employee setup but I feel like that's pretty normal with most systems.

Pros
Honestly this platform is great across the board from managing personal info to handling important documents. These days, a mobile app is pretty standard but BambooHR's works so well that it is absolutely essential for managing time-off requests when you are away from your desk.
Cons
If I am being really picky, the new interface can be a bit confusing since they have rearranged several elements. So an interactive guide would make it easier to adjust.

“An all-in-one tool that saves time
Pros
This app really is an all in one tool that saves me time as an employee and makes me feel more in control. Whether it is setting goals, getting onboarded or requesting time off, everything's in one place, cutting out a lot of back-and-forth. Instead of going to HR for every little update, I can just do it myself in the app. I also really like the performance tracking and how transparent it is about my career history, upcoming time off and more.
Cons
I do not have many complaints about the app though it would be perfect if payroll was included instead of being an add-on. Still it is a great tool.

“Perfect org chart but weak for wide-spread hiring
Pros
The company org chart is very helpful for finding coworkers and seeing who reports to whom. Managing time off and out-of-office settings is simple too and I love that I can sync who's out directly to my Outlook calendar.
Cons
umm the recruitment features are not quite comprehensive enough. Handling a large volume of candidates is not very practical too so you will likely need another solution for that.

It brings all employee data together in one spot, automates a lot of our HR work, improves the employee experience with self-service features and offers tools for tracking performance and creating reports.
Cons

BambooHR is really user-friendly and easy to figure out. As our employees hardly need any training to get the hang of it. The interface is clean and not overwhelming and the reporting features are solid.
Cons

“Centralizes info but reporting is confusing
Pros
I love that BambooHR keeps all my info in one central place. I can check my salary details, performance reviews, goals, time-off requests, training info, the company directory, important links and so on. I mean everything, you just name it. Having everything together saves so much time. Also the mobile app is great for accessing things on the go, too.
Cons
Well I find the reporting function confusing and hard to figure out.

Pros
Absolutely love how easy BambooHR is to use. Features like the org chart, hiring section, reports and surveys including satisfaction and well-being checks are all incredibly helpful. Plus the customer support is fantastic as any time we have had an issue, they have fixed it in less than a day.
Cons
One thing I wish for is the option to create custom reports with graphs and other visuals.

Pros
The app gives everyone on our team access to there HR and payroll info right from their phone. People can handle their own profile updates which saves me tons of time. Getting new hires set up is super smooth, posting job openings feels effortless and managing payroll couldn't be easier.
Cons
The performance management section could really use some work. Right now, theres no good way to monitor progress on specific sub-goals other than seeing what percentage of tasks are done. I'd love to see sliding scales and more simple, customized goal tracking options.

“Robust HRIs powerhouse
Pros
The job hiring module is fantastic and payroll runs incredibly smooth. Love how it tracks benefits and handles documents, feels like a complete HRIs system with solid payroll functionality.
Cons
Main area that needs work is definitely the carrier connections that's my biggest complaint. The time clock functionality could also use some improvements especially with rounding options, though we've managed to work around it for now.
