“True game-changer for hr
Pros
Having everything centralized in one spot has been a game-changer for our HR operations. The interface is so simple that even our most tech-hesitant employees can easily track their hours, handle document signing and submit time-off requests without any issue. From an administrative standpoint, I love being able to access everything on my phone throughout the day, it means I can stay on top of my team's needs no matter where I am.
Cons
I haven't run into any problems they couldn't help me work through yet! The trainer we had was fantastic and eager to answer every question during implementation and data integration.

“Ignored and stuck with regret
Pros
The system handles a lot of functionality while staying pretty easy to get around in.
Cons
support ignores most problems and questions, pushing you off instead of helping. They never implement product enhancement requests and they just tell you to submit them knowing nothing will happen. Updates often create new issues without any solutions offered. The program works but they dont care about individual businesses. They only focus on appealing to the majority of clients, completely ignoring anyone who needs something different. I regret choosing this system. It's so time-consuming to switch HR platforms that we're stuck but I know it will never grow with our needs since they don't listen to user feedback or improvement ideas.

“A great HR tool for me!
Pros
This was the first HR tool I ever used and it was a great experience. I finally got a clear picture of how many PTO or flex days I had left to use. From a user perspective the information available on both the desktop and mobile apps is pretty useful for tracking time off. It is a simple process and it really helps me. Overall it works perfectly for my needs.
Cons
To be honest I have nothing major to share when it comes to cons.

“strong option for smaller team payroll
Pros
I think this is a strong option for smaller teams with simple payroll. The platform is clean and easy to use, especially for making your own updates to payroll and tax information. I've found some of the features, like syncing time-off requests with Google Calendar, to be really handy, it's a nice plus you don't always get with other providers.
Cons
You get what you pay for. The support is not the fastest and they are not very quick to help with problems. They do have live chat but most of the time, they could not answer my questions instantly and would need to escalate the issue. There is no support hotline for immediate help, so you have to be careful when terminating employees. If you make a mistake with the final paycheck date, they will disappear from payroll and you will need to fix the date to bring them back.

The interface is really user-friendly and has a fresh, modern design.
Cons
It can be tough to find certain sections hidden in complex menus. Setting up user permissions and visibility was not the easiest either. Also the Business Organization Chart is difficult to navigate and does not provide a simple way to click through.

I am really impressed with most of the features as I mainly use it for hiring and it makes reviewing candidates so simple!
Cons
The latest update changed the platform's design and I am not really a fan. The hiring section's reports could also use some improvements.

“simple to customize but very US-focused

The setup and rollout to our team were hassle-free. From an admin view, it is simple to use and customize to our business requirements. Their support team is also usually available to help with customization or provide clear guidance if needed.
Cons
It is very US-focused so it might not work well for a small business based in the UK or EU. We spend a lot of time manually adding public holidays for our whole team and updating their PTO lists. A simple toggle to auto-populate this for everyone would be a huge time-saver. Also I wish there was an option to customize the colors to match our branding as the preset ones don't come close to our style.

It is very user-friendly and easy to explore as we didnt t need much training to find our way around. I also like that we can customize the reports to get exactly what we need.
Cons
The notification feature is not flexible enough. We get notifications for additions or terminations but nothing for internal transfers, so we have to notify other teams manually outside of BHR.

BambooHR is fairly simple to use and it is really easy for me to look up a coworker's contact info or see who's new on the team. Overall the whole platform is incredibly user friendly.

It automates the onboarding process with digitally signed offer letters and documents that stay accessible. We can also handle timecards, track upcoming time off and calculate working hours through Bamboo. The dashboard is also visually appealing and easy to manage, with seamless login across any operating system.
Cons
I feel like the integration process could use some improvements and should be easier to set up. There is also no custom info or tax-related work in the payroll. Navigating certain options can be tricky and sometimes unexpected.
