FASTEC 4 PRO Features
This module acts as the central control for organizing production to keep track of all master data, part information, and define the detailed routings and bills of materials (BOM). It helps managers see and adjust the schedule using a visual Gantt chart with drag & drop function and can run scenarios to find the best plan. The system can automatically create production schedules in a semi-automatic or fully automatic planning mode.
The MDA system listens to the machines, recording of machine conditions, performance, and quality in real time. This raw data is used to calculate the crucial overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) metric and produce reports like MTBF/MTRR to track performance and downtime. It also includes tools like the KPI configurator and collects process data acquisition and process messages directly from the equipment for deeper study.
The PDA manages the actual work being done on the factory floor by handling all production order management based on the product's bill of material. Its main task is the acquisition of quantities and times related to each order, which often includes staff time recording and equipment data acquisition. It also uses formula management (DNC/EDS) to ensure machines receive the correct configuration data.
The Quality Assurance module ensures that production meets quality rules, primarily by managing test plans and initiating quality checks. It can automatically create test orders, triggered by data from the MDA/PDA, and provides clear digital instructions via digital checklists and forms. FASTEC 4 PRO software supports quality control by connecting to external peripheral devices and applying statistical process control (SPC).
FASTEC 4 PRO creates a complete verified history for every product with careful recording of components used and related acquisition of process values during assembly. It controls the production sequence with features like process locking and manages identification using serial numbers and batch management and label printing.
