The platform uses tablet computers as its primary source of documentation to support multiple data input methods, such as keyboard, handwriting, and voice. It uses handwriting leads to embed handwriting input for medical record creation. This technology has left various potential vendors by the wayside, enabling Medscribbler to have the edge over it.
The Sovereign for of this solution also features an integrated practice management system and EMR. It offers users the option of hosting the database on an offsite server or a server at the client's location.
