“Live updates keep us organized”
Pros
This has been an incredible solution for staying on top of tasks. As the business grows and the workload increases, it helps keep everything under control and the live updates make managing it all much more doable.
Cons
The user interface was definitely a hurdle at first. When I started using the site, it wasn't very user-friendly and it felt pretty complex to figure out.

“highly customizable software”
Pros
It really stands out for its highly customizable workflows, strong Agile capabilities solid scalability for larger teams and the broad selection of integrations it supports.
Cons
Getting started can be challenging because the learning curve is pretty steep. The interface also feels complex and cluttered at times, performance can slow down when handling large datasets and the pricing feels less practical for smaller teams like mine.

“Brings several PM functions together in one system”
Pros
Getting into it takes a little adjustment but once it clicks, it adds a lot of structure and clarity to project work without feeling too complicated. It delivers solid value because it brings several project management functions together in one platform which reduces the need to rely on separate tools. For teams managing continuous development or more involved workflows, it does a very good job of keeping work organized and traceable and that saves time over the long term. Support has also been consistently responsive and useful whenever questions come up especially around configuration or setting up workflows. After the initial learning period, the platform is fairly simple to use and becomes more natural with regular use. Task management is one of its biggest strengths, with clear assignment, tracking and prioritization that helps avoid confusion over who is responsible for what. Collaboration is also handled well through shared boards, comments and real-time updates, making coordination across teams much better. Diagramming is not really a native strength but it can still be covered through integrations or connected tools which helps when visual planning is needed. Overall it works really well as a central place for managing projects and keeping teams on the same page.
Cons
At first, it can be a lot to take in. There are many settings, workflows and configuration choices and it takes time to understand how all the pieces connect. For smaller teams or people who are new to it, that learning curve can definitely slow progress early on. The interface can also feel somewhat crowded especially when you are dealing with several projects and boards at once. It sometimes takes more clicks than it should to reach the information you actually need which hurts efficiency. Another issue is pricing which can get expensive as the team expands or when extra features and add-ons become necessary. Even though the core product is strong some really useful functions are only available through higher-tier plans or additional integrations. Notifications can also become a bit much if they are not managed carefully since they can turn distracting quickly. Its flexibility is valuable but for simpler use cases that same flexibility can make the setup feel more involved than it really needs to be.

“strong planning capabilities”
Pros
The planning capabilities here are really strong. Tracking work, using reports and breaking projects into smaller parts all work very well and it gives the right context for what needs to be done.
Cons
Some of the features feel a bit complex at first and structured release management takes some learning. Still, there are not many major downsides overall.

“Keeps different teams aligned”
Pros
Jira gives you a very flexible and powerful way to manage technical workflows. The customizable boards, automation tools and integrations make it an excellent option for keeping different teams aligned. Working in product support, it's been simple to track issues from the moment they're reported through to final resolution, with clear visibility into ownership and status at every step. The advanced search and filtering with JQL is especially valuable when there's a large volume of tickets to handle.
Cons
It is a bit hard to understand at first especially for anyone new to the platform or trying to work with more advanced configurations and workflows. Certain admin-related tasks feel more complex than necessary and performance can dip when dealing with very large projects or dashboards packed with widgets. Although the interface is feature-rich, it can also feel a bit cluttered which may make onboarding harder for newer or less technical users.

“useful integrations”
Pros
It really stands out for its flexibility and strong issue-tracking features. It helps teams create, prioritize and follow tickets efficiently while keeping progress visible for everyone involved. The customizable workflows and dashboards are especially useful for organizing processes and making sure teams stay aligned. Its integrations with other tools, along with the solid reporting capabilities, also add a lot of value when it comes to tracking performance and improving overall efficiency.
Cons
Can feel complicated and a bit overwhelming, particularly for new users. The interface is not always the most user-friendly so moving between boards, filters and tickets can take a while to learn. On top of that, when there is a lot of customization, workflows can become harder to maintain and performance may start to lag when handling a large number of tickets or a lot of data.

“Excellent for task management”
Pros
This program has been excellent for managing tasks and keeping development work organized. At NextDay, it gives us a clear structure for handling issues, bugs and feature requests so everyone on the team can easily understand what needs attention and what is already in progress. Creating tickets, assigning them to teammates and following progress on boards makes collaboration much more efficient. Another big advantage is its flexibility since workflows, boards and fields can be adjusted to fit the way the team actually works.
Cons
A drawback is that it can feel somewhat complicated especially for people who are new to project management platforms. Because there are so many features and configuration choices, the interface can seem overwhelming at the beginning. Even things that sound simple, like setting up workflows or finding specific issues, may take some time to fully learn.

“connects well with Git”
Pros
For a development team, one of the best parts of this software is how well it connects with Git and our CI/CD pipelines. It saves a lot of time because tickets can be tied directly to the work through pull requests and commit messages. Sprint tracking and moving tickets across the board also work very efficiently. It helps the whole team stay aligned on who is handling specific bug fixes and user stories without constantly needing to ask around.
Cons
Getting started with it is more difficult than it should be. There are so many menus and options that even basic task updates can feel unnecessarily clunky. It also turns into a mess when project managers or admins build too many custom workflows since that makes something as simple as moving a ticket to "Done" surprisingly hard. On top of that, performance starts to suffer because the system can get slow and unresponsive once the backlog grows too large.

“great value for money”
Pros
Having all my tickets and ticketing options available in one central view makes a big difference. It keeps team and project collaboration running really well and since supporting customers is our top priority, Jira helps us handle that very efficiently. It's user-friendly, fairly affordable and offers excellent value for the money.
Cons
It can feel pretty complex at first because there are so many features, settings and toggles built into it. It takes a little time experimenting with it before everything starts to feel familiar.

“Tracks task progress clearly”
Pros
The sprint Kanban board does a really nice job of showing task progress clearly. It's simple to share updates on a ticket with teammates and reassign work whenever priorities shift or someone else needs to take it over.
Cons
The interface feels pretty complicated to navigate. Also, it doesn't look very modern and has the vibe of older-generation software.

“helpful for managing tasks and tracking bugs”
Pros
Working with it has been really helpful for managing tasks, tracking bugs and keeping team work organized. It's especially useful when developers, QA teams and project managers need to collaborate in one place. It may seem a bit complex at first but once the team becomes familiar with it, it turns into a very effective tool.
Cons
I appreciated how well it handles task and bug tracking in a structured way. It's very useful for managing day-to-day work, assigning responsibilities and following issue progress through to closure. The option to create custom workflows, set priorities, add comments and track statuses makes it very practical for real project management. I dont have any complaints.

“centralized solution”
Pros
Having all tasks organized in one place makes a big difference. It is especially helpful for creating tickets tied to the manufacturing of reagent for clinical chemistry buffer. It also works well for following change orders on documents and managing QA report procurement for lyo beads. The workflow setup makes it clear how to assign work and track progress across different teams.
Cons
At times, it can be a bit hard to use especially for someone new to the system. The interface may feel confusing at first and takes a while to learn. Creating or updating tickets can also take extra time when there are a lot of required fields to complete.

“Complete development management platform”
Pros
It's a truly complete and impressive development management platform, capable of handling even the most complex projects with large teams involved.

“outstanding integrations with Confluence and GitHub”
Pros
The workflows are very flexible. If your team follows a specific or unusual process, you can set it up to match that exactly. The integrations with Confluence and GitHub are something I depend on a lot, it's really useful being able to see code commits or documentation pages linked right inside a ticket instead of having to search in different places. The drag-and-drop Kanban and Scrum boards also make our daily standups much more manageable and help keep the whole team aligned.
Cons
On the downside, the platform feels pretty heavy and can be slow at times. Waiting several seconds just to open a single ticket or change a status becomes frustrating especially when you need to move quickly. It also tends to overwhelm your inbox with a lot of unnecessary notification emails.

“effective for tracking project bugs”
Pros
We rely on it for tracking project bugs and managing the team's time. The biggest advantage is the reporting since it helps us spot where our project processes need improvement.

“Customizable solution”
Pros
It can be tailored to fit the way our team works. Backlogs, sprints, boards and JQL make it simple to keep track of tasks and progress. The audit trail and change history are also really helpful when you need to check who updated something. Overall it does a solid job of keeping everyone on the same page.
Cons
At the same time, the interface can feel cluttered and a bit awkward to use. Configuring workflows and permissions isn't very simple and can take quite a while to figure out. It also tends to slow down with very large projects or when too many apps are installed. On top of that some genuinely useful features are locked behind paid plans or require extra plugins.

“awesome AI features”
Pros
After shifting our use of it more toward ticketing instead of full project management, it really started to shine. Once everything was configured, the automations and AI features became incredibly useful. At this point, it's bringing real value across the entire workflow especially from bug tracking through to code changes in Bitbucket.
Cons
Getting all the integrations set up was frustrating and the AI features we wanted took quite a few workarounds to make them function the way we needed.

“Helps teams collaborate”
Pros
Jira works as a full ticketing system for tracking work and issues while helping teams collaborate in one place. It's basically the market standard for managing tickets and it doesn't take long to get comfortable using it.
Cons

“Full ticket history is fantastic”
Pros
Every task keeps a full history, along with its own comment thread and assigned owner. Even years later, you can open an old ticket and clearly trace why a decision was made and who was involved.
Cons
The interface can be a lot to take in at first and honestly feels like sitting in the cockpit of a 747, with buttons, menus and sidebars all over the place. On top of that, getting a project configured properly takes almost an IT administrator level of knowledge. If the setup isn't done carefully from the start, things can turn into a disorganized mess pretty fast.

“great for managing tasks across large teams”
Pros
It works really well for managing tasks across large development teams. It lets you assign work to specific users and the ability to customize nearly any intake field on a task makes it very adaptable to different workflows.
