I haven't encountered any major cons but perhaps the Entry editor could be made less repetitive. It would be more efficient if we didn't have to select the person to work on twice in consecutive windows. Its not a major issue, but it could be improved for better efficiency.

Time Clock works perfect and smoothly for our operations. Adding employees is not an issues at all. Also it integrates smoothly with our payroll system. From an administrative perspective, making corrections, generating reports and creating integration files for payroll are all simple tasks with the help of this software

In previous versions of the software, you could send memos to departments. Now,you have to select individuals or everyone and cannot send memos to departments.

It would be great if the software were cloud-based. We have experienced issues when our internet provider changes the cable modem, which requires reconfiguring port forwarding and troubleshooting.

I chose Virtual Time Clock because it checked all the boxes we have and provided everything we needed. It is easy for my team to use and access their information. The setup process is also simple and user friendly.

The software doesn't integrate with our accounting software but I was aware of that limitation. Finding a solution that offers both integration and job costing is difficult.

One thing that are incredibly useful are the networking and remote viewing capabilities, along with the timeclock kiosk for entering hours. The Timeclock Kiosk is uservfriendly, making it easy for employees to learn and it ensures accurate time tracking. This is something which eliminates the need for manual calculations.

Cons

Virtual TimeClock has not caused any issues. So we are happy with the software for now.

I really like how simple it is to go back and edit entries if someone forgets to clock in or out.

It lacks bi-weekly leave tracking and there is no offline mode in case of internet loss. In the panhandle of Florida, bad weather frequently disrupts our internet connection.
