It facilitates correspondence and payments, offering both bank transfers and an online option via the Tenant Portal for efficiency. The service provides a pre-sale enquiry pack containing critical documents like ground rent information and the insurance certificate, with an expedited option available to guarantee a response within 48 hours.
Freehold features compliance with lease agreements when a property is sublet. It requires informing Freehold of all new tenancy agreements via an online form, including those with existing tenants. The service helps to confirm that all subletting is conducted through an assured short-hold tenancy agreement with a duration between 6 months and 3 years, ensuring records are correctly updated.
Freehold does not directly provide property maintenance services but instead appoints professional, third-party managing agents to handle these responsibilities for the landlord.
