Pros

Set up process didn't take much of our time and effort. Special credit to their team as they made installing the software quite simple. It was a night and day difference compared to the old IMS we were using.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say at this point.

Pros

Luminous is very easy to use and set up which made the whole onboarding process of ours smooth. And the team helping us with training really knows their stuff, which made a big difference. Also, the integrations with Shipstation, Amazon Seller and Shopify have saved us a ton of time on both daily tasks and month-end processes.

Cons

The accounting side still needs some improvement and I'm glad they are actively working on the accounting and mapping features. So looking forward to those updates.

Pros

One of the best things about Luminous is their amazing support and availability. It is rare to find a team that responds this quickly and thats been a huge plus. I also really like how they handle SKU management. Our products have tons of variant SKUs and it makes adding and tracking them quite easy. Their integration capabilities are another highlight especially the connection with Shipstation. Plus, it's a great EDI service which makes it a solid partner for our Ecommerce operations.

Cons

Like any software, it takes time and effort to really get familiar with it. When we first got it, we kind of expected them to do everything for us. But later we come to the conclusion that if you don't dive in and start "living" in it, it just won't work. That made our start a bit slower than expected. However they did set up multiple meetings and training sessions to walk us through how to use the system and integrate our SKUs, which was helpful. But at the end of the day, it is on the company or the user to figure out how to make the most of it. I'd definitely recommend having someone on your team dedicated to learning and managing it.
