TaxDome Features

Build multi-stage pipelines with rules that move work forward based on status, dates, or client actions. Tasks, assignments, and reminders are created automatically, so routine steps happen on time. Teams gain clear visibility into stage progress, which reduces handoffs, missed follow-ups, and deadline risk.

See How It Works

Clients upload documents, sign, answer organizers, and view progress in a secure portal with checklists and reminders. Approvals and messages sit alongside the job, which cuts email volume. Faster responses shorten cycle times and keep staff attention on higher-value work.

See How It Works

Store and organize files with unlimited storage, folder templates, and automatic naming rules. Built-in PDF tools support edits, annotations, and final checks. E-signature options, including knowledge-based authentication where required, help firms finalize returns and engagement letters while meeting compliance needs.

See How It Works

Record billable hours, convert time to invoices, and set recurring billing for ongoing work. Proposals and engagement letters are connected to pricing, and payments are posted back to the account. Paywalls on deliverables encourage quick settlement, which improves cash flow and reduces manual chasing of receivables.

See How It Works

TaxDome features dashboards that summarize throughput, profitability by service, and staff workload. AI features tag and organize uploads, and surface trends in overdue tasks or stalled jobs. With clearer insight into capacity and margins, managers can rebalance assignments, adjust scope, and set realistic timelines before issues grow.

Simplified My Tax Workflow

Pros

The variety of tools available is incredible. Using pipelines has helped us automate tons of administrative tasks which saves so much time. Our clients really appreciate how user-friendly everything is and the tagging system makes organization a simple process. Having all these fantastic features in one place is such a game-changer. Implementation was easy and the more we explore, the more we find ways to simplify our workflow even further.

Cons

The main thing I'm waiting for is better file management, right now I have to pick the destination folder for each client separately instead of being able to save multiple files to one folder. Though I have to say, they're really good at listening to feedback and their customer service team is always there when you need them.

Excellent for business efficiency

Pros

I've been using this for both my accounting work and the publishing company I co-own with my business partner. At DoxaNous Media, we found it really helps our authors and clients track progress as we move projects through the pipeline. We're definitely more productive now and can provide a much more personal touch with our service. This platform is way more great than other project management tools we've tried. The applications really are endless, I'd recommend it for any type of business.

Cons

The mobile app can't be white-labeled with our firm's branding which sometimes confuses clients when they see the TaxDome name. Most clients adapt well once they start using it though. Video file uploads aren't supported right now which is frustrating since we often need to share .mov, .mp4 and .avi files with clients. I understand there are security concerns but these common formats would really help our workflow if they were allowed.

Amazing For Accounting Practice Management

Pros

The whole system is refreshingly easy and the modern interface feels way more practical than other practice management tools like Canopy and Karbon. Getting started was surprisingly easy, there's a wealth of support articles and whenever I need help, customer service responds quickly. I rely on this daily for our operations and sales tracking. One feature I really appreciate is being able to see how other practices are handling things.

Cons

The file management could really use some drag and drop functionality, it would make things so much more simple to work with.
