Can be great when it's on point

Pros

The ability to see and manage all our bills in one place is great and the user interface is nice and friendly.

Cons

The one thing that frustrates me the most is that manually inputted details about a subscription or bill don't always save or stay as I entered them. Often the expected or actual due date changes even when I have manually corrected it. Syncing bank accounts can also be glitchy at times.

Simple, clean interface and clear prompts

Pros

It's engaging, simple and innovative. I love how they have created a wonderfully simple interface with great customer flow that guides you easily through the app. The subscription tool is excellent and I really appreciate the ability to anonymize data so I can show peers the app without revealing my account balances.

Cons

Their transaction cleansing is poor. I use a few different apps and on one occasion, I had several transactions from Target but in TrueBill, they appeared as gibberish and some were even incorrect, despite the vendor being the same. I know there are better providers for data cleansing and I would imagine TrueBill will make the switch sooner rather than later. Some of the account connections aren't as good as other apps too. Plaid tends to have a bad reputation for account connections, so I think the team will likely move to a more reliable service like MX soon.

A crash course in budgeting

Pros

This app makes it really easy to track how much you have spent and where your money goes. The pie chart is also a cool visual feature. Everything is simple and meets your basic needs for tracking expenses.

Cons

It could be more easy and cleaner in design. It also unlinked my bank account so my current info isn't accurate. I wish it were a little more in depth , it would be great if you could attach receipts within the app to make it an all in one budget tracker.
