Allegiance MD is an integrated EHR, practice management, and patient portal software that operates on all web browsers. You need an internet connection to be able to access it on your desktop, tablet, or mobile device.
The EHR software provides for streamlined capture and reporting of data for value-based payment programs such as MIPS. This makes it the preferred choice of practices looking to improve care delivery, receive payment adjustments, and avoid MIPS penalties starting in 2019. It also provides value-added services such as inbuilt E-faxing, E-RX, automated eligibility check, and inbuilt customizable patient messaging features through which you can securely communicate back and forth with your patients. All of this comes at no additional charge.
For practices looking to migrate from their existing EHR, this EHR company promises to help you cut out your current vendor in case of clinical migration if they can. Their data engineer will work with you to extract the data from your source system and perform the quality work to ensure it is accurately loaded.
The vendor also has a telemedicine solution that enables you to see patients who are unable to come for their appointments. This is especially helpful for patients residing in rural areas. For you, this means more revenue without increasing overhead. AllegianceMD is priced on a monthly subscription fee, which is based on the functionality used and the number of users on the system.
AllegianceMD Pricing: The EHR only system is priced at $449/provider/month whereas the Practice Management module is available at $400/provider/month. The full system (EHR and Practice Management) can be purchased at $489/provider/month.
AllegianceMD Pros: AllegianceMD is easy to use and customize. Their support team is very helpful and responsive.
AllegianceMD Cons: The software solution does not sync to google or I-Cal. There is no app version of this platform.

Pros:I would definitely recommend AllegianceMD to everyone. After such a terrible experience with our previous EHR, it was a really big and terrifying step for us to change our EHR system, but we had no option. I am glad that we took this decision of trying Allegiance, as it has been a wonderful experience using it. It took less than 4 weeks to set it up and start using it. It is easy to use. It has a lot of great features and they keep adding more. The company support is also great.
Cons:None so far.
Pros:We had a good experience with AllegianceMD the first few months. There is plenty of opportunity for customization which makes creating notes and templates much easier. They keep switching team members, you have to deal with a different rep every time. They aren’t easily reachable. You have to make multiple calls and even then, some days you don’t get access.
Cons:the software has infinite glitches popping up every so often. The billing system is poorly designed and unreliable. We have to always be on guard so there aren’t any major errors in functioning. Sometimes even that doesn’t help. Medicare payments take forever in coming through. They do not operate through a clearinghouse which further affects their efficiency. Customer support is spotty. They have to contact programming to identify the problem. Their staff turnover is annoyingly high.
Pros:The system is extremely easy to navigate once you learn what’s what and where. I love the functionality of allegianceMD. Our practice got an upgrade since we started using it.
Cons:I don’t like how we still have to hand out paper forms to patients and then scan them into the system. They should offer online forms by now.
Pros:It is incredibly simple to use this software. User-friendly and neatly laid-out interface. I like how easy documentation is with AllegianceMD. It saves us a lot of time. The customer service is always polite and helpful with any and all queries. That too in a timely manner.
Cons: We have not encountered any major issues. Customer service always quickly helped us with any glitches or errors we faced. I highly recommend this service.
Pros:There are no hidden charges, which is great. We decided to install allegiance after being burned by three other EHR systems. AllegianceMD is excellent. Their customer service is amazing, as they are very helpful and respond quickly. No complaints from this EHR system.
Pros:It is an easy to use product . The notes and templates can be customized well.
Cons:Their support has been horrible. The company seems to have a high employee turnover rate as whenever we start becoming comfortable with a support representative were informed that theyve left the company.
Pros:I cannot imagine my practice doing without allegianceMD billing system. It has made things so much easier for us. No more elaborate paper trails or human errors. The system is adaptive which helps us care for our patient’s changing needs more effectively. Customer service has a great role in ensuring a smooth practice for us. They are easily accessible and responsive. I wish more practices used this system for its robust billing system and hassle-free EMR.
Cons:Patient charts are not as intuitive as they should be. There is a lot of scrolling involved which is a nuisance and time wasting. I hope they fix that soon.
Pros:They do not have any hidden charges unlike eclinical which is out to rob practices
Cons:It is a simple system if you compare its functionality with other bigger vendors. Its sufficient for me though.
Pros:The product is nice overall. It has made claim billing quite easy. It has helped us take better care of our patients by facilitating us according to our needs.
Cons:There isn't much bad that I've noticed about it, but just that fact that when an error occurs during a claim, it takes a while to push it through and make things normal.
Pros:I didn't find any problems with the software and would recommend it to everyone. It is by far the better option. The system is really great, everything is easy and accessible like documentation, communication, and chart notes etc.
Cons:Signing off takes time.
