ChartLogic, a subsidiary of Medsphere Systems Corporation, has been in the market since 1994. It is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The vendor provides an ambulatory electronic health record system either integrated with practice management software or as a stand-alone depending on the needs of your practice. They also offer revenue cycle management services.

Apart from making a practice paperless, ChartLogic provides many features that improve the efficiency of a practice. For those who don't like typing, voice recognition software is inbuilt into the system. There is robust appointment management, charting, e-prescribing, and E/M coding functionality, making your workday seamless.

The software's EMR system is designed to understand a user's personal preferences, workflow, and specialty. It allows medical practitioners to utilize its medical charting capabilities to view medical history, patient notes, diagnosis codes, and referral letters on a single screen. The platform's PM system helps users automate administrative tasks, such as scheduling and registration, verification and eligibility, billings and collections, claims, reports, and user dashboards. It comes with a flexible appointment scheduler that highlights available time slots available for doctors and patients. The PM module also integrates with ChartLogic EMR system.

They have recently launched their patient portal app known as "Connect Patients," which goes beyond helping a practice meet its meaningful use requirements. Patients can use it to schedule appointments, fill intake forms, make payments electronically, and more.

Good software, needs improvements

Pros:
The software is smart and intuitive. I am very happy with some features because they have created a lot of ease for us.

Cons:
Customer support needs improvements. I think the user interface can be a little less complicated.

Pros:
The customer support is so nice and they literally take no time to respond back. The software is very user friendly and offers a great variety of features.

Do your research

Pros:
Charting tools are good. I really like the reporting tools it offers.

Cons:
Before installations, we didn't do much research. After looking deeper into this area we found a lot of other alternatives that were better and more suitable for us.

Good software

Pros:
We really like chartlogic because of how easy it is to navigate and because of the amazing features it offers. The functionality is super professional. It has a very intuitive user interface.

Cons:
Customer support needs a lot of improvement. I was unable to reach them every time I tried.

Pros:
Customer support is great. I have had issues with the software but they were always there to help. The software is easy to navigate.

False promises

Pros:
Reporting tools are nice.

Cons:
I think that all they really care about is getting people to install the software. All their promises were fake and they didn't deliver what they promised.

Pros:

The software is the same for the last 15+ years!

Pros:
Honestly, I am not too happy with it. It seems like they have a handful of people on their team who are inundated with work.

Cons:
Their customer service is bad and we can never get clear answers about the issues we have.

I can double-check all patient-related information and even the billing.

Sometimes the features and information we enter in them take a while to update because the server is slow.
