ChartLogic, a subsidiary of Medsphere Systems Corporation, has been in the market since 1994. It is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The vendor provides an ambulatory electronic health record system either integrated with practice management software or as a standalone, depending on the needs of your practice. They also offer revenue cycle management services.  

Apart from making a practice paperless, ChartLogic provides many services that boost the efficiency of a practice. For example, voice recognition software is built into the system for simplifying data entry into progress notes, patient charts, etc. Besides that, there are features like robust appointment management, charting, e-prescribing, and E/M coding functionality, making your workday seamless.  

ChartLogic EMR

The software's EMR system is designed to understand a user's personal preferences, workflow, and specialty. It allows medical practitioners to utilize its medical charting capabilities to view medical history, patient notes, diagnosis codes, and referral letters on a single screen.  

ChartLogic PM

The platform's PM system helps users automate administrative tasks, such as scheduling and registration, verification and eligibility, billings and collections, claims, reports, and user dashboards. Additionally, it comes with a flexible appointment scheduler that highlights available time slots for doctors and patients. This PM module also integrates with the ChartLogic EMR system.  

Connect Patients

ChartLogic recently launched their patient portal app known as "Connect Patients," which goes beyond helping a practice meet its meaningful use requirements. Patients can use it to schedule appointments, fill intake forms, make payments electronically, and more.

Pros:
I no longer have to double-check information when processing insurance claims. The software picks up errors itself and makes sure everything is in order in perfect harmony.

It takes some for the information to update on other systems.

Very user-friendly. It is really easy to train staff on the use of this EHR and the customer service is also amazing. Always available when I need help in any matter.
Cons:
I just wish patients could easily make appointments themselves. The mobile version would also be really helpful as a way to securely communicate with patients.
