Sitelink Features
This capability allows a person to view a project in a realistic, one to one scale on the jobsite. The feature assists in comparing the digital design against actual conditions and finding any potential issues. This process helps improve the accuracy of construction and lowers the chance of costly rework.
This tool shows a person’s live location within active BIM views as they move around a project site. This feature helps a person get bearings quickly and understand the surrounding context. It gives an immediate sense of where a person is in the complex digital model while in physical space.
A person can use augmented reality annotations to overlay and localize digital notes on the physical environment. This makes it simple to visualize and communicate design changes or construction issues to other team members. The tool saves these annotations with exact location information, which provides a clear record for the team.
This function enables a person to perform quick LiDAR scans of existing conditions using an iPhone or iPad Pro. Each scan is automatically placed within the correct location on the jobsite and in the digital model. The scanned data can then be viewed in standard modeling software, such as Autodesk Navisworks.
A person can attach photos and useful files to a Sitelink. This provides all the context needed to identify conflicts, communicate changes, and confirm accurate execution. Photos can include model visualization and measurements alongside the real world.
