EZ 2000 has been simple for me to use, and in various offices I've temped in, I've noticed it's easy to keep track of productions, documentation, and more.

Cons

The only downside to this software is its poor graphics; it would be nice to see an update similar to what Eaglesoft or Dentrix offers.

Pros

Filing claims electronically with attachments is very easy. I also appreciate the many reports I can generate. It allows me to easily track my claims and stay on top of all my billing needs. Any feature a dental office requires is available!

Cons

Navigating the software was difficult in the beginning. I did not find it very intuitive and felt quite overwhelmed. Some of the features I never used because I just didn't understand them.

Pros

We run a fast-paced dental office in Huntington Park with over a hundred patient visits per day. We employ multiple dentists and staff. We needed something straightforward, quick, and affordable. We initially purchased their EZ 2000 dental software 15+ years ago at a low price, which included computers, network, software, and training. They have continually upgraded it to make it even better, easier to use, and more versatile. This product is perfect for us. We rarely encounter problems. The training was excellent, led by a professional middle-aged woman who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The EZ 2000 team has a smart, friendly, educated, and helpful support staff. We couldn't survive without EZ 2000. They also supplied us with computer hardware, digital x-rays, an intra-oral camera, eClaims, perio charting, and even secured a government grant to pay for our expanded system! We highly recommend this product and company.

Cons

The only thing I could wish for is for it to be free. Interestingly, when we expanded our system to include digital capabilities, it actually was free. EZ 2000 assisted us in filing for a government grant through the Medicaid E.H.R. Incentive Program, and we used that money to pay for it! All we paid for was our initial purchase 15 years ago for some computers and the original software. Great deal!

Pros

The support staff is professional, the trainers are excellent, they honor their product warranty, update frequently, it's easy to use, has versatile functionality, is priced well, and integrates smoothly with outside services.

Cons

We've had no issues for over 30 years. When we started out in 1985, they had some kinks, but they are far, far advanced from those days.

Pros

The software is only intuitive with the basic functions. There are always small issues that pop up, and the program crashes easily.

Cons

The technical support is the worst, almost non-existent. Many times it takes several phone calls to get someone to call the office back. There is almost no immediate help if you need to resolve an issue right away. I would not recommend this dental software!

Pros

I have had a very bad experience with this software.

Cons

I wish I had done some research before writing a check to this company. I paid more than twenty thousand dollars, including digital x-ray, and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of my career! It's been three years, and not a single week has passed without some problem with this software. Whenever you call their so-called customer service, they just keep passing you on to the next person. I should have known from the beginning when their tech guy came over for the initial training session, he was completely drunk, and we had to ask him to leave because he showed more interest in my assistant than in training us. We have enough headaches dealing with patients; we shouldn't be subjected to more headaches like this! I am going back to my original software, no matter how much more it will cost me; I've had it with this nonsense. The only reason I switched software was because the guy who sold me the digital x-ray convinced me to buy new software, claiming it would be easier to deal with. What a big lie!
