Pulse EHR software features

Here’s a list (with explanations) of some of the EHR’s prominent features:

  • Complete Patient Workflow Management

The platform enables a streamlined clinical/patient-care workflow. Using physicians can track patient responses and change appointment schedules, as well as edit medical records (complete with images, lab reports, e-prescription notes, and other important file attachments; voice recognition recalls for quick appraisals) – under administrative staff oversight.

  • Patient Self-Service Portal

Pulse EMR offers a fully dedicated patient self-service portal that provides administrative elements for seamless client management - complete with auto-admissions, scheduling, appointments, and vitals/information-sharing functions. As a subscriber, you can easily verify eligibility of patients for admission purposes. Patients can leave reviews and feedback for better CRM management, as well as control how much information they provide to the system.

  • Lab Reports Integration

The program allows healthcare facilities to integrate and share reports, charts, and medical/lab results with consulting clinicians/referring consultants (crucial documentation that gets automatically attached to patient records). You can search for drug interaction information/details, patient histories, and charting details.

  • Revenue Cycle & Practice Management

Pulse EHR ensures that you run your clinical operations and administrative tasks both successfully and in compliance with standard medical regulations. The system keeps up with the full breadth of electronic claims management; covering such sidelong care aspects as payment posting, claim appeals, reconcile-payment requests, ‘post reimbursements’, and denial refiling. Through the patient portal integration discussed, practice clients can easily file claims, vet audit trails, and exchange messages with clinical administrations for the processing of particular requests.

Great start/going since last 3 months

April 2023

Jeremy O.B, MD

Benjamins’ ENT Lab & Clinic, IL

Pros:
Going great so far in our small, downtown Chicago clinic. I especially like the custom dashboard fits for ENT practice. Medical billing, patient scheduling/reporting, compliance, etc. works just fine.
Cons:
None yet – but keeping one star in reserve just in case.

Great for specialty practice use; ok-to-above-average for general med.

April 2023

Ryan C. G Wilson

Quest Oncology Clinic, MA

Pros:
Works well in our Oncology consultancy; covers the basics of patient records keeping, billing, scheduling, and prescriptions without issue. I’ve heard similar things about the program from colleagues in other specialties. A lot of dashboard/workflow customization options.
Cons:
I think they’ve focused their interface design on specialties. Need to offer more filters/custom reports for general practices. Not a complaint but a suggestion.

We recommend this for orthopedic practices

February 2023

Jenna Jacob S.

J. Specialty Clinics, WA

Pros:
The practice management portal feature is great. We particularly like the system’s orthopedics modules (especially the anatomy referencing guide).
Cons:
May be a little costly for startup clinics.

Review from Director of Operations

March 2019

Florence

Hospital & Health Care

Pros:
You can easily navigate between the EMR and practice management software by clicking just one button.
Cons:
There are either too many redundant modules or modules that perform the same function, which require excessive clicks initially.
