SilkOne EHR is renowned for its patient intake forms module, which supports practices in collecting patient history, consent details, and visit information before appointments in a structured digital format. It handles frequent new patient visits, where reducing paper-based intake and keeping submitted information directly linked to clinical records helps maintain consistent documentation during consultations.

Who Is SilkOne EHR For?
SilkOne software caters to chiropractic clinics and multi-disciplinary healthcare practices of all sizes.
SilkOne Use Cases
Based on our analysis of the user reviews of SilkOne EHR’s current capabilities, we have identified key scenarios where this software is a good fit for chiropractic and multidisciplinary practices:
Solo Chiropractic Clinics Managing Daily Patient Flow
Independent chiropractors often manage both clinical work and front-desk responsibilities within the same workflow. Reviews highlight that handling intake, visit documentation, and billing together can become difficult when systems are fragmented. In such setups, SilkOne EHR can be commonly used to keep patient visits and records connected within one environment, helping reduce time spent switching between tools during a busy clinic day.
Multi-Provider Chiropractic Practices Coordinating Shared Patient Care
Larger clinics with multiple chiropractors or therapists frequently deal with overlapping schedules and shared patient treatment plans. A recurring challenge is maintaining consistency in documentation while ensuring each provider has visibility into prior visits. SilkOne EHR provides users with structured record access and shared patient histories to keep treatment coordination aligned across providers working in the same practice.
Insurance-Driven Clinics Handling High Claim Volumes
Practices that depend heavily on insurance reimbursements often struggle with rejected claims, manual corrections, and delayed payments. Review patterns point to the need for reducing administrative rework when managing large batches of claims. SilkOne EHR software is used in workflows where billing staff need clear tracking of submissions and fewer gaps between documentation and claim preparation.
Rehabilitation And Therapy Centers Managing Long-Term Treatment Plans
Rehabilitation-focused clinics typically work with patients over extended periods, requiring continuous tracking of progress and repeat visits. A common operational challenge is maintaining consistent records across multiple sessions and providers involved in care. SilkOne EHR platform is used to maintain continuity of patient information so clinicians can reference previous assessments and update treatment direction over time.
Chiropractic Clinics Focused On Patient Reactivation And Missed Appointment Recovery
Some chiropractic practices deal with a large number of patients who stop treatment mid-cycle or miss follow-up visits after initial improvement. A key challenge in these settings is identifying inactive patients and deciding when to re-engage them without relying on manual tracking or memory-based follow-ups. SilkOne EHR supports workflows where staff revisit past patient lists, review visit gaps, and reconnect with individuals who have not completed their recommended care plans.
Is SilkOne EHR Right For You?
If you are a chiropractic or multidisciplinary practice seeking an easy-to-use and scalable EHR system, SilkOne may be a great fit. Its integrated features, including electronic health records, billing, scheduling, and charting, can efficiently manage workflows, such as insurance claim processing and daily billing tasks. As a top-rated chiropractic EHR, several practices of all sizes trust SilkOne to manage their daily operations and patient care.
Furthermore, the vendor offers a fully compliant module created with expert guidance. It tracks documentation requirements, stores audit-related records, supports policy reviews, and helps practices prepare for regulatory checks. Additionally, it includes a free clearing house and supports credit card payment processing, with payments posting automatically into the system for payment tracking, balance updates, invoice management, and transaction records.
Patient Relationship Management
SilkOne EHR features patient relationship management tools to help clinics send targeted email campaigns based on appointment activity, treatment history, inactive patient lists, and missed follow-up visits. Practices can also encourage patient referrals and generate reports for retention tracking, follow-up outreach, reactivation efforts, and communication history across different patient groups.

“SilkOne use and ease
Pros
I admire how it covers all insurance guidelines and makes note-taking with the doctor easy.
Cons
The data entry, the consistency with entry of intake paperwork. I only get email support really and not a human on the phone. I do not use it to it full capacity because I do not know all the bells and whistles. Still trying to adapt to what tests and things I do

“It was fine, but needs refinement
Pros
I find it reasonably priced and very easy to input new patient exam information.
Cons
Putting in insurance collections was a bit maddening. It seemed very time consuming and inefficient. Also, when I used it, it didn't seem to be efficient for doing SOAP notes during the appointment. Perhaps that has been improved since I used it.

“The best integrated PMS, EHR and billing software for the money with great billing and AR features.
Pros
As a billing company working with various EHRs, I find SilkOne integrates seamlessly with the clearinghouse, making claims upload and ERA download fast and simple. The ERA import for posting eliminates file maintenance. SilkOne stands out with its Accounts Receivables features, allowing me to see outstanding A/R by payor and specific claims. This helps minimize outstanding A/R and identify claims needing attention, improving cash flow. The integrated practice management, EHR, and billing components add significant value.
Cons
Resubmitting a claim can be cumbersome until you really learn the process
