Solismed is a free open source clinic management system designed to be used by free clinics and solo/independent practices. The software offers multiple tools aimed to save time. It offers fully integrated features such as appointment scheduling, secured medical records, patient encounter management, e-prescribing, inventory control, billing, and patient portal are all components of the same system.
Solismed has multi-tasking capabilities such as opening multiple patients encounters tabs, and team collaboration meaning one patient’s records can be accessed on more than one screen at the same time. The patient portal allows for secure messaging, along with a variety of practice management features including an appointment calendar and Interfax, which allows users to send and receive faxes electronically.
All of the configurations can be done in the user interface to meet any practice’s needs. Some of the functions, such as screen display, can also be set according to individual preferences. The system is capable of tracking refill requests, open orders, and lab results, and interfaces with numerous public health agencies and immunization registries. It also tracks and helps you manage patient registration, supplies, and worker assignments at multiple workstations.
