Interview Signal Features
Consent Checker
Interview Signal’s Consent Checker helps interviewers determine whether consent is required before recording or transcribing an interview. Users can select their location, the candidate’s location, how the interview will take place, and what will be captured. It covers the U.S., Canada, the UK, the EU, and Australia and runs directly in the browser without sending information elsewhere.
Interview Scorecard Builder
This feature lets users create interview scorecards by selecting a role, editing competencies, setting percentage weights, and marking must-have requirements. Each scorecard uses a 1–4 rating scale, includes a question field, and provides space to record the candidate’s responses. Users can print or save the scorecard as a PDF, copy it as text, or generate a shareable link.
Consent Management
The software includes consent controls for interviews that use transcription. Each role has an editable consent line displayed before the interview, while recruiters can record whether they read the notice aloud or determined that it was not required. The platform also provides a visible pause button that stops audio capture and indicates when capture is paused.
Data Processing And Privacy
Interview Signal keeps interview content, including transcripts, candidate names, quotes, and submittals, on the recruiter’s computer rather than receiving or processing this data itself. It also supports data deletion requests, breach notifications, and confidentiality requirements.
