Pros:
Monday is as flexible as any other spreadsheet software but impresses with its smart capabilities. Everything can be customized and automated, like the columns, formulas, and connectors. The best thing about it is that it encourages us to finish our work since the admin is able to color code the pending tasks and change the status accordingly (green is for complete, orange for pending, etc.). This makes our work week almost like a race to see who gets all the greens first and increases our productivity. It has an amazing mobile app as well.
Cons:
No matter how much fun working with Monday is, the price is a bit too high, especially considering the size of my team. They offer complete bundles, which is amazing and allows a lot of users to have separate logins, but to us, those extra users seem like an unnecessary price to pay. They should offer a per-user-based subscription instead of the current system to make it affordable for us as well. The "my week" feature also doesn’t work as expected, so we’ve stopped using it altogether.

Pros:
It is great that Monday is so focused on team collaborations that even if we lacked the motivation, we are right back on track. The software is designed in a way such that one department can complete a task that can aid the other one, and vice versa. All the workflows are transparent, which enables the team members to have a quick look at what they’re supposed to do and even help out a fellow team member with their task. There are so many helpful features like widgets that can be added to the website, which makes the UI even more attractive.
Cons:
Due to a lack of staff during the COVID pandemic, the telephone support was suspended and only the chat support was available, which was frustrating to deal with since you had to write a lot and most of the stuff couldn't be explained in writing. But now that the pandemic has basically ended, phone support has still not been resumed. I would really like them to resume it as soon as possible. And any information you’d like someone to even view requires them to register, which is a very unnecessarily lengthy process.

Monday.com is very capable for task management.

Pros:
I've used various task management software such as Airtable and NetSuite, but the simplicity of Monday.com drew me in and convinced me to stick with it for a while longer. I appreciate how it allows me to select the way I want the layout to be, which includes view types for individual files and lists in subcategories. Starting your work from scratch is also made easy with loads of pre-built templates, which are good enough to at least get you started but can also be customized if you don't fancy them. I haven't thought about moving away from Monday until now, and I don't plan to for a very long time.
Cons:
It feels weird to complain about the interface since it's very straightforward, but I personally still find it unintuitive. There should be a smooth flow to software that requires you to move between panes to complete a single task, and it shouldn't leave you scratching your head on where to go next. The UI generally doesn't fit well with me. Like, I don't appreciate how the items are displayed with no real uniformity, which gives the feeling that the screen is mixed up when it isn't. These are just trivial issues, but if you spend a lot of time with them, they do start getting to you.

The repetitive and same old boring user interface in project management softwares is, in my opinion, one of the common issues that make working even more of a loathsome task. They believe that in order to use one of these technologies properly, we must all have a classic mindset. Monday shatters that barrier and debuts with an innovative and brand-new user interface. The same old tools are available with fresh looks and a new way to design flows within the same app itself, without the need for additional programs for important actions. We are able to get things done with a little bit of fun.
Cons:
I must admit that I recently returned to this tool. I was there to test out Monday when it first launched, and I was really happy with the UI and how simple it was to use the tool's functions. Their pricing chart was the first point that kind of disappointed me. Because of the constant advertising on social media, I decided to check back after a while to see if anything had changed. They were still evolving and had modified some of the pricing tables, which was a welcome surprise. But it is no longer a software I have issues with and has been working smoothly for me ever since I came back.
