A wonderful experience

Pros:
We can easily enter data into the software in bulk and not have to worry about misplaced files. The doctors can check and review remotely and sign-off on any treatments or medications for nurses to administer.
Cons:
There is nothing negative to say about it.

An EHR solution like this one is rare

Pros:
The patient charts are easy to fill-out and search through the filter function. Patient and doctors can share information with ease.
Cons:
Scheduling is tricky and requires a lot of care because one wrong move can result in a huge mistake.

Great reporting feature

Pros:
It is easy to use and has a powerful report writing feature to include notes and other updates from different computers.
Cons:
The CPT code does not always match for each input which is somewhat inconvenient.

Worthy purchase

Pros:
Easy process for viewing and editing patient's charts. We can open multiple records at the same time which is very convenient.
Cons:
Sometimes it erases what we have written in the report and does not always work how it is supposed to.

I recommend it to everyone!

Pros:
I have a designated technical support representative who I can contact directly whenever I am facing an issue. This works great for me because I need immediate answers to solve billing issues. They also listen to their client's suggestions and implement them in the next update.

Functional but not the best

Pros:
It is easy to learn how to use the software and once you get used to it, it saves a lot of time. The dashboard is simple and you can quickly locate whatever you are looking for.
Cons:
It does not allow us to schedule appointments and we have to use a different program for that. The fax module has a lot of issues and it does not let you preview the file or create a coversheet before sending it.

Satisfied with the software

Pros:
Nexus makes it easier to enter patient information, add notes and upload documents. The built-in fax function allows us to quickly send any new information to different departments without using paper.
Cons:
The software sometimes acts up and prevents staff members from accessing the files. It also tends to freeze up at times but that happens rarely.

Features

Pros:
I like the system’s dashboard functionality. It is easy to learn and to use. I like the overall look of the system. The system is pretty straightforward.
Cons:
There are a few things that I would like to change the system after using it for so long. The fax queue doesn't have a window to see faxes before documenting, no fax cover sheet is saved to chart, the patient portal is not easy to use, for scheduling, planning and patient updates we have to use another system, subsequent to making orders there is no alternative to save to chart.

Nexus EMR

Pros:
It is easy to use. The support team is quick in responding to any issues that we face. The system generates professional-looking reports which are easy to read.
Cons:
The manner in which the requests read, don't generally "match" the CPT code similar to wording.
