Key Takeaways

Generated from the text of customer reviews

Lytho project management capabilities are designed for marketing, creative, and content teams. The tool has users in marketing and advertising, higher education, and consumer goods. Project organization and proofing are among the areas users mention positively. Search capabilities and workflow customization are two areas that some users find limited. In 2026, Lytho added AI Reviewers for brand and regulatory checks along with AI Project Insights for spotting project risks and updates.

Our Verdict

Lytho is a stronger fit for mid-market and enterprise creative teams working for brands, departments, and approval groups. It makes more sense when creative requests need formal reviews and stakeholder sign-off rather than basic task tracking. Smaller teams may find custom pricing harder to justify. We recommend it for established in-house creative departments and agencies with these needs.

Lytho Features

Creative Workflow

Creative Workflow gives teams a structured way to handle work from the first request through final approval. Teams can submit requests with the necessary project information, send them for review, and follow feedback and approval progress within the same project.

Digital Asset Management

Lytho features DAM that provides a central place to store, organize, and access approved creative files. Its search can identify assets based on their meaning and context, while metadata, descriptions, and alt text can be created to help teams locate and reuse files.

See How It Works
Tempo

Tempo lets teams create branded materials without requiring designers to handle every request. Editable templates allow users to update approved fields, such as text and offers, while locked brand elements stay unchanged. This suit distributed teams that regularly create marketing materials within set brand guidelines.

See How It Works
Planner

Planner brings campaign and project details into a single view, allowing teams to see scheduled work, assign responsibilities, and establish deadlines. Workload views also give managers visibility into competing priorities and available capacity, helping them spot potential scheduling problems early.

Chrome Extension

The Chrome Extension lets teams apply Lytho's brand and compliance checks to content outside the Lytho environment. Users can examine webpages and browser-based materials against configured standards, then send identified issues into the relevant Lytho workflow for review.

Brand Center

Brand Center provides employees and external partners with access to approved brand materials in a controlled environment. Access and management permissions can be assigned to different users, while version history records change. This allows teams to share approved resources without giving everyone permission to modify brand standards.

AI Teammates

AI Teammates review content against set brand, legal, and regulatory requirements before it reaches human approval. They can identify possible issues and recommend changes, while human reviewers continue to make the final decisions. Organizations can have consistent content checks before publication.

Wonderful Creative Workflow

Pros

Being able to track the tasks and progress of multiple design/video projects that my team is working on is something I truly appreciate. It keeps me informed with the most up to date status.

Cons

As there are so many options are available and I feel like I have only scratched the surface of its use. I am sure there must be a way to disable the notifications since I receive numerous emails from the program on a daily basis.

The best tool for marketing and Service teams with document management.

Pros

Implementing custom views on this platform is so simple and easy. The option to customize the dashboard and template fields is very useful. Sharing files with different teams and managing them becomes effortless.

Cons

The interface can be a bit confusing and could use some improvement to make it simple. Implementing multiple menus would be beneficial. It would also be great to have immediate customer support in case any glitches occur.

Indispensable component in our project management.

Pros

InMotion Ignite has become crucial for us in terms of project request intake, collaboration, proof reviews and final asset delivery. With our Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams being decentralized due to remote work during the pandemic, we rely on inMotion Ignite daily to collaborate on project requests, review and approve proof designs, and deliver final assets. I absolutely love the sleek and intuitive user interface. Before inMotion Ignite, we were overwhelmed with constant emails and version control was non-existent, which led to potential approval of incorrect files. Now everything is organized, clearly labeled and we can easily trace our approval history.

Cons

I wish admins had the ability to create tasks/proofs without requiring stakeholders to fill out a project request form to receive their final deliverables. Sometimes it would be convenient to do this on behalf of the requestor but currently, it's not possible.
