Microsoft To Do (previously recognised as Wunderlist) is a task management programme that enables users to generate and share daily to-do lists. The software is available for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices, as well as via the web. Microsoft To Do is a simple tool that allows users to build, organize, and monitor all lists and tasks. When editing daily and monthly to-do lists, the app makes intelligent and tailored suggestions. Listings can be shared amongst teams to keep track of project or task progress. Microsoft To Do and Outlook Tasks can work together.
If you're worried about a backlog of work, taking things one day at a time will help. This is done with Microsoft To Do's "My Day" function. I select three to five tasks that I can feasibly complete in a single day and add only those to my daily to-do list. Instead of focusing on a week's or month's worth of tasks (or, in the case of Trello, virtually everything on my plate), I can concentrate on what's coming up next. It's visually simple, which takes the stress off of my to-do list. That's a significant benefit. A Lot of other Microsoft To Do reviews talk about how this feature in particular helps increase productivity.
When you star an item in Microsoft To Do software, it goes to the top of your list immediately, so you know what to concentrate on. When I don't know where to begin or am inclined to skim my list and begin with the easy items, that visual cue comes in handy. In the sidebar, there's also a Critical tab where you can see all of your urgent chores in one place, even if they're not on the agenda for the day. That's a fantastic place to start if nothing feels urgent.
It's fantastic to have a clear picture of the day—but not if it implies a million other thoughts are racing through my mind. I enter a daily list of things into my Planned tab, setting due dates, so I can see my schedule for the coming days and weeks. And if I get a special project, I make a note of it and give it a deadline. You can choose when you want to complete a task, or you can submit it to Later if it doesn't have a deadline. All chores are instantly shifted to My Day when tomorrow (or any future date) becomes today. This is especially useful when I recall an unusual work with a short deadline over the weekend.
You may also use hashtags to organise your tasks. Add #clientname to each connected task, for example, if you have numerous tasks for one client but want to view all of your work for that customer in one location. When you click on the hashtag, you'll be sent to a list of all the jobs you need to complete for that customer. To Do begins to feel more like a customized project management tool as it offers numerous methods to organise tasks (and subtasks).
