What is Rydoo?

Overview

Rydoo is a travel and expense management, mobile, and cloud solution. It is an application that consists of two modules: travel and expense. It automates and streamlines processes for high-growth companies and enterprises. Businesses of any size can easily use this software. 500K professionals across 60 countries use this platform.

The application takes care of all the hassle from searching flights and hotels to booking a seat on a train or expensing a cab from the airport. It easily scans and digitizes the receipts which can later be extracted. Users can upload receipts, add notes to it, manage time, mileage, and advances.

Pros

Once granted access, locating where to upload receipts is simple with this software. It's quite reliable.

Cons

I often feel like the design comes first, and then they add functionalities afterwards. It looks sleek, but lacks depth in features. To find what you need, you really have to click around quite a bit.

Pros

The app functions very effectively and expedites expense submissions. It provides a clear overview of expenses to be submitted.

Cons

Many images aren't supported when submitting expenses. Sections like Transactions seem untouched. Is this for business cards? It would be helpful to automatically reject expenses that exceed the company's budget.

It's a simpler solution compared to Concur, so the integrations with accounting tools are more basic.

Pros

I use Rydoo daily for managing my expenses. Having used other software in previous roles, I find Rydoo much simpler and it doesn't clutter the user interface. I like the consistent experience between the mobile app and the web interface.

Cons

My only issue is that if I don't wait for the expense to confirm creation after saving, I lose the uploaded receipt.

Pros

I'm impressed by the tool's simplicity and the helpfulness of the support team. It's easy to input information and get reimbursed for expenses. Managing new and existing expenses is simple, and I find it amazing how it automatically records the value of items.

Cons

There are limited possibilities available. The software seems to have a minimal feature set. For instance, you can't view the conversion rate compared to your primary currency. Sometimes, we have to make too many adjustments during scanning; it would be better if it could intelligently fill in the data automatically.

Pros

I use this software occasionally to submit receipts for reimbursement. While I'm not as experienced with it as I'd like to be, overall, it's user-friendly and gets the job done.

Cons

I wish it was easier to use. Uploading receipts seems handy, but I keep getting flagged for missing receipts, so I have to redo my submission every time.

Pros

Scanning receipts is a breeze. It's simple to use for any user.

Cons

There's no easy way to update credit card statements. Every month when we try, two of our statements fail to update correctly, and it's random which ones. Now, I'll have to do it manually. Rydoo, you're good at making promises, but then it becomes my problem. I've been patient, but I'm considering switching to something easier or at least cheaper next year.

I really like that the software extracts information from the receipts I upload, reducing the amount of data entry I have to do myself.

The app doesn't sync well with the web portal, and adding a different payment method is quite tricky.

Pros

Rydoo is another travel and expense management app we're testing in our office. Overall, the interface is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Cons

The auto receipt capture can sometimes be a bit finicky and doesn't always read all the relevant data, though this doesn't happen too often.
