Great Manufacturing ERP Tool

Pros

This software serves as the backbone for everything we do in our manufacturing operation. The MRP functionality drives our purchasing decisions and timing perfectly. Job tracking through completion works easily and processing sales payments flows smoothly. It's really well suited for manufacturers like us. What I particularly appreciate is the "Business Objects" feature, this lets us automate processes and create custom applications that handle things like receipts, inventory movements and labor logging automatically. This flexibility has been crucial in helping us scale and manage incredible growth over the last 25 years. We've found it to be a great, continuously evolving platform that we depend on to keep our business running.

Cons

The UI can be pretty frustrating sometimes, though I think switching to the web client might help with some of these issues. We've run into problems with printing and authentication on the web version but it looks like they're working on fixes. Some processes are painfully slow, like when we're dealing with kit issuing jobs that have 800+ materials. Those really need to be optimized. We recently started using multibin inventory tracking and while the basic framework is there, the management side feels incomplete. We've had to do a ton of customization and even bring in third party software just to make this feature work efficiently for us.

Responsive and Supportive team

Pros

Back when I started using this system in 1999, it was just a basic Windows app. Now it's grown into a solid ERP platform that you can really build your business around. No software is perfect but I'm impressed with how they keep improving it and actually listen to user feedback.

Cons

I don't always get the chance to use all the features this software offers.

Good for SMBs, but Missing HR Modules

Pros

The software is really great and works great for small to mid size companies. I love how modular everything is, you can customize order management, planning, manufacturing, service and finance modules to fit exactly what your business needs. The Point of Sale system is super easy and the demand forecasting tools are incredibly user fiendly.

Cons

The lack of HR modules is a major gap for an organization like ours that needs comprehensive functionality. Smaller companies might feel confused by how complex the system can be to navigate and use effectively.
