“Excellent messaging integration solution”
Pros
Their customer service responds quickly and the engineering team gives fast feedback when you report bugs. The documentation is easy across all platforms and very simple to implement. It works on iOS android and web and also supports various types for custom message announcements. The staging environments are great for testing your product before going live.
Cons
We've been running into authentication problems when users log in and out through the layer service on Android. The SDK doesn't include callback features for loading messages and conversations, so developers have to build these themselves or modify the code from GitHub. We're also dealing with issues around pending images that haven't been resolved.
