Founded in 1990, APTA Connect by Cedaron Medical is an on-premise Practice Management solution that streamlines documentation and daily workflows for rehabilitative practices of all sizes. It is designed to meet the needs of practices that provide medical services, such as speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational medicine. This Specialty Rehab EMR offers all the tools and features users need to stay Medicare compliant. Key features include patient records, patient scheduling, patient registration, insurance management, care plan management, billing & invoicing, and progress tracking.

The platform helps users improve their bottom line by offering fee cap tracking & alerts and avoiding denials. APTA Connect also allows clinicians to enter data through the point-and-click, preset drop-down menus, or draw directly on uploaded radiology images. Besides, its picture archiving system is designed to help users upload and store various types of documents or images in a patient's medical records, including MRIs and x-rays. 

With APTA Connect’s scheduling module, users can view schedules by clinicians, therapists, or clinics. The software pops up automatic warnings in the event of double-booking, and color codes for each visit type. Not only this, it includes a library full of diagnostic codes for the ICD-9 & ICD-10 codes and allows users to even save commonly used codes in the "favorite" lists.
