User Friendly and Time Efficient

Pros

I find Casamba Skilled to be very user-friendly. The portal is easy to navigate and it helps me with efficient documentation. Although I was initially concerned when SNFs transitioned to the PDPM model, I have not faced any issues with billing or charges under this new payment model. The software offers various tools, including both free text areas and pre-fabricated/drop-down options, which provide a good balance for my needs.

Cons

I am having trouble logging onto two devices simultaneously with one login. For instance, I cannot access old patient evaluations on a desktop while typing a patients note on a handheld device without losing my progress or encountering glitches. However, it might be possible to have multiple tabs open on the same device.

Gets the job done

Pros

Accessing previous therapy notes and other documentation is made easy with the company-wide program, which allows for seamless sharing of information between facilities.

Cons

Currently, the documentation available for review is limited to the past week. To access older information, a desktop must be used. It would be more efficient if all documentation could be accessed on one device.

The system sometimes lags and can kick you off occasionally.

Easy to use documentation system

Pros

I find the drop-down menus for health documentation to be easily customizable, and I appreciate that they work seamlessly across laptops and iPads in my company.

Cons

I would like to create a bank of frequently used phrases for completing notes, so I can complete the process faster.

Horrible Customer Service

Pros

I find it easy to use, and the interface functions properly. I've been using Therapy Source and Rehab Toolkit since 2005.

Cons

At present, I've got two tickets open via their portal login. One, from about a month back, shows as "transferred" but remains unresolved. The other, marked as "New," has been pending for over a week. If you try calling customer service, anticipate a lengthy wait for your call to be answered. You can reach them at 866-813-7454.

Treating therapist and Denial specialist

Moving between different regions and buildings is simple. Running reports for multiple sites and predefined regions is also easy.

Cons

I often find it necessary to refresh before a report generates. Daily scheduling can pose challenges for larger departments.

The calendar app helps me keep track of my daily hours worked and productivity.

Cons

The new appointment scheduler lacks the ability to display therapist names and their scheduled hours without manually adjusting the section size.

The word choices for speech therapy treatment and goals seem lacking. Additionally, it fails to save words I've written from other reports to use as a framework.

Editing the appointment scheduler is restricted to one employee at a time, a new issue introduced with the recent update.
