Pros

EyePegasus has been a gamechanger for me and my staff. Our patients love using the iPads and often compliment us for implementing such a modern system. With the iPad in hand I can easily move around the practice and communicate with my team and patients while having access to their medical charts. It's great to be able to customize exam flow templates and make changes onthefly. The software's coding system is quick and I can easily look up any missing codes online. The patient appointment reminders and recall features are also fantastic. What's more the customer service team is always available to address our concerns and suggestions. Printing prescriptions directly from the iPad in the exam room has saved us a lot of time and the software's affordability is also a plus. Having used various other software programs in the past EyePegasus stands out as the best by far.

Cons

The software is excellent and any concerns I have had are promptly addressed by the customer service team. The only issue I have encountered is the inability to customize text options for the degrees of rotation on soft contact lens fittings. It would be great to have this feature added as well as the option to choose between left and right instead of nasal and temporal. However I have already mentioned this to the software team and I am confident that they will address these concerns in future updates.

Our patients adore the iPads they often express their wish for all doctors offices to adopt them. Personally I find it convenient to carry the iPad around the practice engaging with staff patients and even managing optical tasks while having the chart accessible. Customizing exam flow templates to my preference is a huge plus I can seamlessly add elements like vergences during exams. Its great that each doctor can tailor their own exam flow. Coding is swift and if a code is missing I can easily look it up online using the same iPad. The appointment reminder textsemail option and recall feature are appreciated. Direct contact with the companys customer service ensures our suggestions are considered for updates which are frequent. Printing Rxs directly from the iPad saves time for everyone. The softwares ease of use consistently impresses patients and keeps the office organized easily justifying the monthly fee. Plus its very affordable. Having used various software in different practices Eye Pegasus stands out as the best its my favorite by far. I absolutely love it its fast user-friendly and visually appealing.

Cons

I usually just shoot an email to their software team when I find something Im not fond of and theyre always appreciative promising to consider it for the next update. Its reassuring to see they value our input and consistently enhance their product. Currently Im hoping for a custom text option for soft contact lens fit rotation degrees rather than the preset 5-degree increments. Also Id prefer leftright over nasaltemporal orientation for fittings like mine. Ive already brought this up with them and I anticipate these options in an upcoming update. Their custom keyboards are usually a time-saver but this particular one for contact lens fittings needs more flexibility.

Charting on the iPad is a delight and patients are impressed with iPad check-ins. The software is impressive and user-friendly making charting faster than paper. The customer service is impeccable.

Cons

The reports are adequate for now but Ive been informed theyre working on improving them. Im eager to see the new reports.

Pros

Practice management software has significantly increased office efficiency and the transition has been smooth. Customizing the EHR to fit my workflow is effortless and the entire software is intuitive. Plus its affordable and the support is excellent.

Cons

Its too early to make a definitive judgment but I havent encountered any issues so far. My networks a bit sluggish but thats more of a network problem than a software one.

So far, my experience with the product and staff is extremely positive.

Pros

Transitioning to this software has been much easier compared to my previous one. The workflow is faster and the preset setup and onsite training were excellent. Face-to-face training sessions are invaluable and our reps keep the staff motivated and engaged. Doctors new to EHR adapt quickly hitting the ground running faster than with other programs.

Cons

Compared to my previous software this company and its product are relatively new so there might be a few features. Nonetheless Im impressed by the rapid rollout of updates and how they genuinely consider user input to enhance the product.

Pros

The dedicated iPad EHR design is fantastic allowing me to input my own exam findings and preload treatment plans. Capturing ROS via the waiting room and importing data to EHR is seamless. I appreciate the ability to create personalized exam templates. My staff loves the appointment reminders sent via text automated calls and emails.

Cons

EyePegasus automatically sends patient recalls one year after exams which is great for routine care but occasionally tricky for my medically-focused patients. I often need more flexibility in the recall schedule which I believe theyre addressing soon. The EyePegasus team has been receptive to fixing issues like this which is reassuring.

Amazing young EHR that is growing quickly

Pros

Its incredibly user-friendly even the least computer-literate staff can grasp it. The iPad check-in and automated patient reminders save significant time. The customizable exam templates allow the doctor to efficiently fill out and sign charts often between patients eliminating the need for after-hours work. Customer support is excellent and theyre continuously adding new features and improvements.

Cons

The only downside I can think of is that EyePegasus might lack a couple of features compared to more established EHR systems at least for now. However in the nine months since we joined they have rolled out numerous new features we suggested improved existing ones and shared plans for more. EyePegasus truly values feedback and acts quickly to implement it. While there are occasional moments when we wish for additional features this minor downside is outweighed by their openness to user input a stark contrast to my previous EHR experience.
