Key Takeaways

Generated from the text of customer reviews

SolutionReach is a web-based patient engagement and communication platform built for healthcare practices. Front-office teams use it to manage scheduling and patient outreach. Multi-location and dental practices benefit most from its compliance tools. Users praise fewer missed appointments. However, rising costs remain a common complaint.

Our Verdict

SolutionReach fits multi-location healthcare groups that require consistent patient communication and compliance tracking. Its capability to send automatic reminders suits practices with high patient volumes and limited front-desk staff. Users find the starting cost fair, but opinions split later, with some citing significant price increases. We recommend it for practices ready to scale communication across locations.

The platform supports dental, vision, and medical practices of different sizes, from single locations to larger health groups.

What Is SolutionReach Best For?

The platform stands out for automating patient appointment reminders across multiple channels. It sends reminders through emails, text messages, and voice calls, so practices can reach patients easily, depending on the communication channel they prefer. This helps lower missed appointments and keeps patients on schedule for care. For practices managing a higher number of patients, this reminder system supports steadier online scheduling and fewer gaps in the day.

Who Is SolutionReach For?

SolutionReach works well for healthcare professionals across many facility types. These include:

  • Dental practices
  • Ophthalmologists and optometrists
  • Medical practices
  • DSOs (Dental Support Organizations)
  • Vision groups
  • Hospitals and medical groups

SolutionReach Use Cases

Based on our analysis of SolutionReach features, we have identified the following key business scenarios where it is well suited:

Front Desk Teams Confirming Appointments Without Extra Calls

Front desk teams often rely on SolutionReach to confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with patients who haven't responded. The platform sends automated reminders by text or email, so patients can confirm or reschedule without staff placing individual calls. Practices with high daily appointment volumes benefit most from this because confirming each visit manually would take up most of the front desk's day.

Practices Filling Appointment Slots With Automated Recalls

SolutionReach identifies patients who are due or overdue for follow-up visits and reaches out with recall messages on its own, so staff doesn't have to build outreach lists by hand. That's useful for practices that struggle to reconnect with patients after their last visit and want a steadier way of bringing them back.

Patients Communicating Through Multiple Channels

Practices can use SolutionReach to bring two-way texting, appointment confirmations, online scheduling, payment links, and digital paperwork into a single communication channel. Instead of routing everything through phone calls, staff can message patients directly and handle requests without playing with their phone tag. Practices where patients prefer texting or often can't answer calls during business hours tend to get the most value from this setup.

Practices Building A Consistent Process For Patient Reviews

SolutionReach automatically sends review requests after every appointment, giving practices a structured way to collect feedback rather than depending on staff to remember to ask each patient individually. That structure matters for organizations trying to grow their online reputation, since review volume can otherwise swing based on how often staff follows up.

Is SolutionReach Right For You?

Solutionreach fits healthcare groups that manage compliance across multiple locations, not just single offices. It signs a HIPAA business associate agreement per customer, with documented administrative, physical, and technical safeguards for PHI. The platform also handles TCPA consent tracking and opt-out management for patient texting. For practices serving Canadian patients, built-in CASL safeguards cut down on the legal exposure that comes with sending messages incorrectly.

SolutionReach Features

Digital Patient Intake

This Intake feature sends HIPAA-compliant forms that patients can complete before their visit. Practices can customize each form and have it sent automatically by email or text once an appointment is booked. Submitted data can also be written back to supported PM or EHR systems, which helps cut down on manual entry for front-office staff. Beyond the forms themselves, QR code check-in, mobile-friendly form design, and auto-fill fields add another layer of convenience.

AI Receptionist

AI Receptionist answers patient calls and SMS messages when staff are unavailable. From there, patients can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments directly through the AI receptionist, while also getting answers to questions about hours, location, and other practice information. Appointment details are then confirmed, and conversations are logged for staff review.

See How It Works
Batch Messaging

Batch Messaging gives practices a way to send one message to a group of patients at the same time. Staff can build custom lists using criteria such as age, gender, insurance, or diagnosis through a practice management connection. Lists can also be created by uploading a CSV file with details like patient ID, patient name, or date of birth.

See How It Works
Location Management

It acts as a shared hub for patient communication, marketing, and performance tracking across multiple practice locations. Staff can manage appointment reminders, recall, two-way texting, rescheduling, birthday messages, newsletters, intake, and surveys. It also supports branded newsletters for promotions or education, along with tools to collect, respond to, and monitor patient reviews by location. And with enterprise reporting, it compares metrics and KPIs across sites to surface no-show trends and support new-location onboarding.

See How It Works
Two-Way Texting

Two-Way Texting lets practices message patients from an office number or website. Staff can use it to obtain HIPAA consent, confirm prescriptions, request payments, collect images, and sort messages by priority. Patients can also request appointment changes over text instead of calling. On top of that, conversation history, patient details, and the appointment calendar remain available from both the desktop and mobile app. The same tool can also start conversations with prospective patients directly from the practice's website.

See How It Works
Reputation Management

This solution helps practices collect, monitor, and respond to patient reviews from one platform. Review invites can be sent by text or email, while AI-powered alerts flag new feedback and negative trends. Practices can also use AI-suggested responses, sentiment analysis, competitor comparisons, and reporting to track and improve their online reputation.

See How It Works
Revenue Cycle Messaging

Revenue Cycle Messaging connects patient messaging with billing and payment tasks across the patient journey. Practices can send insurance and treatment details, payment notifications, and overdue balance reminders by text or email. From there, patients can receive electronic bills and make secure payments. This helps staff manage collections and payment follow-up more easily.

Poor product

Pros

The web-based aspect is the only pro for me. However, the ease of use was lacking. Often, I had to call customer service, wait on hold for 20 minutes, and then maybe they could help. Emails were very slow to respond to, if they responded at all.

Cons

As a sales agent dealing with customer service in the Philippines, I found it to be the worst. They kept charging me for Solutionreach even after I stopped using it. It's a terrible company with terrible ethics and business philosophy.

Horrid Company

Pros

When it was working right, I found it to be an okay program for communication.

Cons

It's very glitchy. I couldn't get system issues resolved, and they claimed they had no records of my calls for tech support.
