“practical workshops that really stick!”

Pros

Something we kept hearing from learners was how practical these workshops felt! People came away with tools, frameworks and language they could put to use right away in their roles. The delivery was also very engaging and interactive so the sessions never felt passive. There was strong facilitation, real time practice and enough room for reflection which helped the learning stay with people. Another plus was how clearly everything was structured. Topics like 1:1 frameworks, feedback models and development conversations were broken into simple, memorable pieces that felt easy to apply. Other than that the content connected well to real manager and employee challenges so it felt relevant and like a worthwhile use of time.

Cons

There was nothing major to complain about but a couple of themes did come up consistently. Some participants wanted more depth or a longer session so they could spend additional time practicing or digging into more nuanced scenarios. At times the pacing also felt a bit fast. Since the sessions were packed with content a few learners felt they had to move through concepts pretty quickly.

“amazing tool!”

Pros

Has been amazing for helping people who are brand new to management understand how to actually step into a manager role! The workshops are highly interactive and our team members can usually apply what they learn right away sometimes even the same day. I really value that each session gives us a chance to practice the skills as we're learning them and then talk through them together. On the admin side the membership platform is especially useful for tracking whether newer managers are completing the required trainings and for following up when needed. I'm a total fan of it and regularly encourage others to get involved with Culture Club and check out their resources. I've even passed along their content to mentees in my local SHRM chapter and to friends at other companies who recently became managers. They've also been incredibly supportive in letting us pilot follow up initiatives for workshop content through a book study format. Honestly I'd rate them a 12/10 if that were an option :)

Cons

Biggest challenge for us is really the cost and how to sustain it over the long term. Since we're a smaller nonprofit we don't always have a large enough group to run our own cohorts and there are times when the membership just isn't within budget. It would be really helpful to have a more affordable way to keep the content refreshed over time.

“Good frameworks”

Pros

One of the best parts is the practical no theory approach. The training is very actionable with clear frameworks and real life scenarios that managers can start using right away.

Cons

The follow- p after training could be stronger so it does more to reinforce lasting behavior change and keep things consistent across teams.
