Key Takeaways

Generated from the text of customer reviews

Sibme provides instructional coaching and evidence tools that are used by teachers and school leaders. Users praise how easy it is to use, particularly video coaching, and many also have positive things to say about its customer support. Some reviewers find the dashboard confusing and mention occasional technical issues. In July 2026, Sibme released its new Observations module, expanded AI Insights Framework Prompts, and added a Submitted Date column to Forms Reports.

Our Verdict

Sibme suits K-12 schools and districts managing teacher coaching, classroom observations, and professional development. It works well for organizations with instructional coaches or administrators coordinating feedback and improvement plans. The $30 monthly Campus Leader plan is more suitable for individual leaders. Smaller schools should compare costs with expected usage. Overall, Sibme is suitable for organizations that want to formalize and scale instructional improvement processes instead of providing simple coaching tools.

Sibme Features

Collaboration And Professional Learning Communities

Sibme lets schools and districts create private spaces for Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and coaching teams. Educators can use these spaces to discuss teaching practices and share instructional materials. They can also leave feedback and keep track of decisions made during group discussions. This gives teams a shared place to continue professional learning across different schools.

AI Reports And Insights

Among Sibme features, AI Reports and Insights examine classroom recordings to identify instructional indicators. These include teacher and student talk time, wait time, and question types. AI Insights also reviews lesson plans, recordings, and other artifacts in relation to instructional frameworks. Coaches and instructional leaders can refer to these findings when evaluating classroom practices.

Observations

Formal and informal teacher observations can be managed through structured workflows in the software. Administrators and evaluators can create observation processes and assign observers. They can then collect classroom evidence through video, audio, or documents before completing forms and rubric steps. The observation record keeps the collected evidence with the related evaluation information.

Goals And Progress Tracking

Sibme Goals lets educators create and track professional goals and action items. Users can attach evidence to individual goals, including videos and coaching sessions. They can also add resources, scripted notes, or relevant frameworks. Coaches and reviewers can refer to this material when discussing progress and professional growth.

Evidence And Artifact Management

The tool can store instructional evidence in different formats. This includes classroom recordings and lesson plans as well as student work and observation notes. Coaching notes and screen recordings can also be included. Teams can connect this evidence to observations, coaching cycles, goals, and instructional frameworks.

Absolutely Incredible Platform

Pros

I like how this tool helps with self-reflection and working together with colleagues. There are tons of ways to organize and share ideas which makes collaboration so much fun. Also, this is really good feature to have since all the work and interaction is done online.

Cons

The only thing I can think of is that since they're always making improvements, you need to put in effort to learn new stuff.

Makes remote coaching effortless

Pros

This software has all the features in one place including all our resources, team conversations and coaching sessions that don't require everyone to be online at the same time, which I really appreciate. The huddle feature has been great for building stronger connections with my teammates too.

Cons

Mobile app doesn't run as smoothly as the desktop version and can be finicky about screen orientation and other settings.

Super User-Friendly Platform

Pros

What I appreciate is that the tool makes it simple to upload teaching videos for teachers. The "Huddles" feature gives me complete control. I can pause, rewind and analyze footage whenever needed. Being able to leave comments and give positive feedback directly on the videos has been helpful for mentoring.

Cons

The comment section feels pretty rigid. You can't add spaces between paragraphs or do things like bullet point indentations. Would be nice to have more formatting options there.
