Pros

I signed up to submit and track invoices for a client, and initially thought it was a good system. However, it has been three months, and I am still waiting to get paid. It's great for credit control of the customer but not so much for the supplier.

Cons

Submitting an invoice proves to be quite challenging. Also the format rules seem impossible to meet, and the user guides provide contradictory instructions. For instance, attachments must include the word "attachment," but invoices get rejected for both including and excluding that word.

Pros

The user interface is intuitive, and the code base is solid with very few bugs or unexpected behavior compared to other solutions. The workflow management is detailed and clear, greatly enhancing efficiency in invoice processing. The reusable templates for recurring tasks and automatic three-way invoice matching with minimal human intervention are excellent features.

Cons

It lacks in-platform guides for various tasks, and having the option or feature to export invoice images would be a valuable feature. The price is on the expensive side, and user support needs improvement, especially for a sophisticated platform like Basware. Additionally, there are rare instances where the platform freezes for users.

Pros

One aspect I love is the option to send invoices for automatic processing and match them to their respective purchase order (PO) numbers. The invoice scanning feature proves to be quite useful in this regard. Additionally, the data extraction functionality provides all the necessary items for running in-company reports.

Cons

Usually, it takes around 24 hours for vendor data changes to reflect in the system. Only one session can be open at a time, restricting the processing of multiple invoices simultaneously. Moreover, the system can be sluggish at times.
