Nice and easy layout

Pros:
This software has nice and easy layouts. I enjoy it mainly for its charting and patient records. Changing options to fit the needs of the unit and its functions is easy.

Cons:
It is expensive. Plus, there are times when tech support is not always helpful. When the server is down, things stop for a long time, as it takes time for them to get the server back and running.

athenahealth

Pros:
Athena is a good EHR system. Signing up for their billing portion also helps as we pay less to an RCM team and it gives us good options. It also gives its clients the ability to have their EMR and if we want, we can outsource billing at the same time.

Cons:
From time to time we’ve noticed that the Athena team doesn’t convey our information back to the billing management team, which often causes confusion especially in cases like accounts that been sent to collections.

Not good

Pros:
There isn’t anything that I could count as a pro.

Cons:
The software is complicated. I click on to do something while the software keeps on suggesting to me things that I don’t need it to do. It doesn’t remember the patient’s diagnosis from earlier visits. It doesn’t keep my frequently used codes or orders. It doesn’t work on a tablet, phone, or Chromebook.

Athenahealth

Pros:
From a user point of view, I feel that athena is pretty great. It is easy to use.
I am basically a new person when it comes to using EMR systems but this was easy.
The scheduling and billing modules are simple and pretty straight forward.

Cons:
We don't have a lot of access to the system so updating the system on our own is something we face issues with.

Cons:
athenahealth is not user-friendly at all, and it keeps crashing a few times each day.

Naturopathic Doctors

Pros:
It is a good software, helps a lot in many things. The internal chat feature is something that I really like about this software as it allows us to connect with other providers within our practice.

Cons:
It isn’t the best choice for naturopathic medicine, the templates and many other formatting aren’t according to what we require. This is the only reason which makes it difficult to use it efficiently.

athenahealth

Pros:
This software is one of a kind. It is sleek and it is beautiful. It is easy to use, not only for me but also for my patients as well. It gives a lot of relevant information regarding the patient and their condition. My patients like this software as well, they say that it helps them stay in the loop. Everyone isn’t health literate, so the technology that we use is very important and it also needs to be easier for everyone to use and understand.

Cons:
I am currently a new user, so I don’t have much to say about this software yet. Currently, I’d say that it is expensive and can be quite slow at times.

athenahealth software

Pros:
The software is pretty easy to learn and use. The appearance is great and modern. I like the colors that they use, it gives out an amazing look to it. I also like the ability it has to create templates and also customize the software according to the user. I would recommend this software. Overall it is a great software.

Cons:
There are times when you need to add longer comments or more information but due to the character limit, it becomes impossible to add more.

Easy

Pros:
The system isn’t overwhelming at all. The layouts are really great and pleasant to look at. It is easy to use and navigate through. The chart navigation is easy as well.

Cons:
There are times when my charting doesn’t save due to “no clicking” on another portion of the chart. But this is something that rarely happens.
