“Buyer Beware - Learn From Our Mistake”
Pros
The UI is intuitive, polished, and well-organized. Like any similar product, if you don't manage it and invest time in maintaining it, you'll get out what you put into it. The tool itself seems like a solid product.
Cons
To be completely transparent, the management member who kickstarted this partnership was very enthusiastic at first but had trouble getting the intended users on board. After a brief period, their enthusiasm faded, and the product was "put on the shelf," even though we continued to pay for it. About two years later, with the original team member who set this up having left the company, we revisited the situation. We realized that we had been paying for services that hadn't seen any significant use during those two years, which was entirely our oversight. When we decided not to continue with the level of commitment required to justify the expense, we reached out to cancel the services. Unfortunately, the original commitment had auto-renewed not just once, but twice, with the latest renewal only two months prior. We acknowledged our mistake in not using the services, explained our reason for cancellation, and asked for leniency given our loyal payments over 2+ years. We were told, "The contract is the contract. If you quit, you will still pay." We were offered a chance to "pause" the service, but by then, the relationship felt transactional rather than valued. We'll continue paying for the remaining term, our fault for not managing it more carefully, but won't consider doing business with this company again. There are many similar services, some better and some worse. Customer service and relationships can be more important than price, and this is one relationship we'd prefer to end. Buyer beware, this product might work wonders for you, but if you're not committed to managing it daily, you'll only get out what you put in, with no sympathy from the vendor if you make the same mistake and don't carefully monitor their auto-renewal terms. The written terms on quitting early aren't detailed, only referencing the Terms of Service in the contract you signed, which can be changed at their discretion. You can refuse to agree to the Terms of Service and quit, but "the contract is the contract."
