Learning Locker Features

Users can create customized dashboards with various graphs and visualizations, adjusting series and axes, and embedding or sharing them. Dashboards refresh in real time using xAPI data and can be exported or connected to BI tools like Power BI or Tableau for deeper analytics.

See How It Works

This feature allows grouping multiple actors or personas for a single person under a single persona profile. Personas are available for querying and reporting throughout the User Interface (UI) and on each statement. This helps organizations merge fragmented user data from different learning systems, improving accuracy in analytics, tracking, and long-term learner history.

See How It Works

The software maintains a database of all query values it has encountered, used to make searching statements easy, even for those made by custom extensions. It supports detailed xAPI filtering and nested conditions while enabling property-level searches. All query functions appear in the API, which allows automated reporting and programmatic extraction.

See How It Works

The feature makes it easy to forward statements (with filters) to another LRS or third-party service via webhooks. Additionally, the BI connectors facilitate connectivity, allowing the sharing or exporting of data. Organizations can send data to multiple destinations by applying transformation rules. These rules reshape or enrich statements.

See How It Works

Data is structured into organizations and stores, allowing finer control and reporting across multiple stores within a multi-tenant environment. Multiple LRSs can also be run within a single organization, but data from all stores can be queried together. Enterprises can separate departmental data clearly while still being able to view combined results. The model supports cloud or on-premise hosting and scales effectively for large or complex learning environments.

See How It Works

Learning Locker is fully xAPI-compliant, enabling detailed tracking of learner behavior across platforms. It records interactions beyond traditional SCORM completions and supports digital, blended, and offline learning activities. This feature is needed to capture richer learning evidence, measure skill development, and unify all learning activities in one model.

See How It Works

Learning Locker integrates directly with BI tools and data warehouses to combine learning data with organizational metrics. This allows teams to analyze training effectiveness, track compliance trends, and connect learning activity to measurable business outcomes. This assists with evidence-based learning decisions and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis.

See How It Works

Learning Locker supports self-hosted, cloud-hosted, and on-premise deployment, letting organizations choose environments that meet their security and compliance requirements. This flexibility is essential for enterprises needing full data control, customizable infrastructure, or adherence to strict governance or data-locality standards.

Excellent Addition to Our Ecosystem

Pros

Learning Locker proved to be an ideal solution for replacing our existing course completion store while offering additional capabilities. Its integration with other systems and projects through xAPI has been highly valuable. The creation of realtime dashboards is remarkably straightforward and the support and development team is responsive.

Cons

While the dashboards are great there is room for improvement in terms of reporting. It would be beneficial to have more comprehensive reporting features within the tool itself. However Learning Locker offers APIs and BI connectors for integration with external reporting tools.
