Practice Velocity EHR Software

Practice Velocity EHR Software has been providing urgent care EMR software, urgent care billing services and urgent care start-up consulting services since the mid-2000s. The solution is suitable for individual practitioners as well as small to midsize medical clinics.

Keeping in mind that the needs of an urgent care clinic are different, Velocity Doc EMR has been designed accordingly. For example, you can access the solution anywhere as it is cloud-based. To save time it mostly has point and click functionality for data entry. Once a complaint is entered it automatically generates relevant questions, diagnosis, procedures, and exit care discharge instructions.

Apart from the clinical side, Practice Velocity practice management software is used by hundreds of owners and business managers daily in the practice of urgent care medicine. For local clients training is conducted in the PV headquarters while for others they can make use of an exhaustive list of pre-recorded tutorials.  Practice Velocity also offers urgent care contracting and credentialing services.

Not happy with billing

April 2021

Tameka

Johnson Medical Center

Pros:
The clinical part is amazing and we can edit patient charts too. That module never crashes either.
Cons:
Billing and enotes cannot be deleted.

Not the best

April 2021

Sherry

It is user-friendly and great for storing information digitally. We are able to scan the documents and then add it to the EHR

We face downtime when the application crashes.

Bad experience with them

April 2021

Larry

King Medical Center

Pros:
I do not like anything about it.
Cons:
It is glitchy and makes my job more difficult. The system keeps crashing and there are too many windows you need to open to get a simple task done.

A decent option

April 2021

Lana

White Medical Center

Pros:
It is easy to use for our administrative staff members and the doctors can complete the examination, clinical tests, notes and diagnosis online too.
Cons:
The system crashes and then we have to reboot which causes us to lose information.

We have better options

April 2021

Tammy

Charles Medical Clinic

Pros:
Our practice management and billing activities are all covered now with Practice Velocity
Cons:
Th transition was not smooth because all the information could not be uploaded to the system and we had to manually transfer it.

A decent software

March 2021

Lana White

Hospital and Health Care

Pros:
The system is decent, not bad from the last one that we had. It is simple to use, our staff individuals total the clinic proportion effortlessly, notes, charts records, everything is available.
Cons:
I don't like that the program crashes really often. It has to be closed down and after that restart it once more, all the data is lost.

Pretty decent

March 2021

Lana

Hospital and Health Care

Pros:
It is an easy-to-use EHR as compared to others. A lot of amazing features are available. Completing notes and chart documents is very easy
Cons:
The system crashes every now and then. I have to restart it completely and all the information is then lost

Not a bad deal!

September 2020

Adam

New Health

Pros:
Our staff found it easy to use. It is pretty good for urgent care specialty.
Cons:
The reporting feature could be better.

Urgent Care Specific

September 2019

Adam

NEW Health

Pros:
Convenience with operational staff after IT tweaked UIs to boost efficiencies. Different EMRs can be excessively troublesome. It is a very good software for urgent care specialty.
Cons:
The absence of significant worth-based measurements for quality reporting for Medicare and different models’ payers are trying to move. Similarly, reporting was constrained.

Great EMR

January 2019

Jill

Lake Scranton Urgent Care

Pros:
Overall this is a pretty great EMR. It is easy to use and helps do things quickly. It is best suited for urgent care, especially for fast paced ones.
Cons:
The framework in general freezes more than I might want, making it a more drawn out time span to get patients discharged and out of the center.
