Practice Velocity/Experity is a Solid ‘Starter’ Option for New Clinics

Pros

Works exceptionally well/all EHR bases covered for the first two years in practice. Currently contemplating switching to a more advanced system; am reluctant to shift after having gotten used to Velocity’s user-friendly screens.

Cons

Nothing major; just go light on all the promotional messaging sent on email.

Pros

Great EHR for busy clinicians who want a cost-effective, all-in-one, medical software for their practice; with a solid vendor support staff available round-the-clock to provide genuine help (HUGELY different from what the EMR big-shots ‘Ep.’ and ‘Ce.’ – you know which – are offering).

Cons

There IS a thing as being too friendly and undecided at times; an impression I sometimes get talking to their support team. You need to be definitive guys – just tell us if a feature’s good for us or not (we won’t sign-off!).

The Experity log book is very easy to navigate, and most of the time, the app verifies insurance automatically, so there's no need to call the insurance company.

Cons

When the software is down, I can't open documents like registration forms, insurance cards, and IDs.

Pros

It barely qualifies as an EHR. Just enough functionality to handle basic billing and coding tasks. Nothing special here to appreciate or consider as pros.

Cons

It's very inflexible. Payment posting is chaotic. There are no navigational features to switch between different functions of the software. Tracking things is the second major issue. Keeping track of payments, charges, or patient balances is very stressful. The database is also lacking, as I can't see any historical data within the software. Everything needs to be extracted through a report. If I want to see charges between two dates, I need a report. If I want to see payments between two dates, I need a report. If I want to see patient visits between two dates, I need a report.

Pros

The system is decent, not bad from the last one that we had. It is simple to use, our staff individuals total the clinic proportion effortlessly, notes, charts records, everything is available.

Cons

I dont like that the program crashes really often. It has to be closed down and after that restart it once more, all the data is lost.
