Pros

Escapia is a great vacation rental management software that caters to all my software needs in the vacation rental industry.

Cons

Unfortunately, Escapia lacks ease of use and has a difficult learning curve. Moreover, during our onboarding years ago, the training provided was incomplete, which we discovered much later during a one-on-one session at Rezfest. Escapia then demanded over $3,000 to fix the issues resulting from inadequate training. Over time, we've self-trained to address these problems and utilize the necessary modules. Additionally, Escapia fails to promptly notify users of system glitches, only admitting to them when issues arise. It would be beneficial to receive timely notifications to avoid wasting hours troubleshooting before contacting support.

Holiday Rental Management

Pros

The Reservations Dashboard is fantastic. It allows me to efficiently handle my weekly and future bookings. I can easily view the availability of my properties, track current bookings, and identify areas that require my attention.

Cons

Reconciling daily banking and monthly accounts is part of our routine.

I can manage platform operations and utilize electronic signatures, which makes it convenient.

Cons

The absence of an app for Escapia is a significant drawback, and the system experiences frequent downtime.

We love Escapia!

Pros

Switching from a spreadsheet and Google Calendar system to Escapia 5 years ago was a game changer for us. We have eliminated double bookings and reduced potential errors with this fully integrated system. The powerful accounting module has fueled the dramatic growth of our business over the past five years.

Cons

The accounting component is complex to use, but we have become proficient at it. I'm unsure if any other full-function accounting software would be simpler, though.

Solid Property Management Software with Excellent Trust Accounting

Pros

The trust accounting capabilities in Escapia have significantly improved the speed and accuracy of our month-end accounting procedures. It also provides detailed financial statements for our owners. Additionally, the integration and mapping with Vrbo are exceptional.

Cons

The addition of numerous new features and improvements is exciting. However, in my opinion Escapia sometimes announces them prematurely without providing a solid launch date.

Vacation Rental Software

Pros

The software is user friendly, portable, enabling me to access it from anywhere. It is robust enough to handle most aspects of my business and can integrate with various applications and websites.

Cons

Software integration is never straightforward, but this particular process was at least manageable.

Managing payments and portfolios is relatively simple.

Cons

The login process is arduous, consistently requiring more than one step.

Ecxellent Vacation rental software

Pros

The software is easy to use, and it helps me keep track of accounting and reservations seamlessly. It has made significant progress in the last 10 years.

Cons

Customer service is not helpful at all, particularly when setting up the software to streamline VRBO integration. Escapia staff has been of little assistance since we currently manage only 15 vacation rental properties. Small businesses should receive the same level of attention as those with larger VR inventories.

Escapia is intuitive and user-friendly. The calendar feature is excellent, and entering data for each booking is a breeze.
