Rillet Software Features
Automated Contract-To-Cash
Rillet software's automated contract-to-cash feature streamlines the entire revenue cycle, from creating contracts to getting the cash receipt. This powerful automation syncs data directly from CRM systems and eliminates the need for manual entry. Using this feature, finance teams gain a comprehensive view of incoming revenue, which is essential for usage-based revenue businesses. This feature not only saves time but ensures timely and accurate revenue recognition.
Advanced Invoicing
Rillet’s Advanced Invoicing tool allows users to create custom invoice patterns, set up automated payment reminders, and generate secure payment links. By simplifying these processes, this feature reduces manual follow-ups, ensuring that payments are collected on time—a major benefit for high-growth companies looking to scale efficiently. The invoicing system seamlessly integrates with CRM data and provides real-time insights into cash flow, helping small businesses maintain financial stability without dedicating extra resources to collections.
AI-Powered Bank Reconciliation
Using advanced machine learning models, Rillet software’s AI-Powered Bank Reconciliation feature can match up to 90% of transactions across thousands of banks automatically. This automation significantly reduces reconciliation time, a major pain point for finance teams managing high volumes of transactions. By decreasing the manual workload, this feature allows companies to close their books faster, helping SaaS companies focus on other strategic financial tasks rather than spending valuable time on reconciliations.
Multi-Entity Accounting
For businesses operating multiple entities or subsidiaries, this accounting software ensures seamless financial management. The multi-entity accounting feature automates complex tasks such as currency conversions and consolidations, enabling companies to view both consolidated and individual subsidiary finances. This level of support is especially valuable for high-growth companies and usage-based revenue businesses expanding internationally, as it provides the flexibility to manage finances across various jurisdictions without needing separate systems.
SaaS Metrics Reporting
Rillet software delivers in-depth metrics reporting tailored specifically for SaaS companies, including essential KPIs like ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), retention cohorts, and more. This feature allows users to drill down into data for a detailed view, helping finance teams and executives monitor performance metrics that are crucial for growth and investor reporting. By offering real-time insights and customizable reporting, Rillet enables companies to make informed financial decisions, driving strategic growth.

“Clear picture of SaaS revenue - thank you Rillet!”
Pros
Rillet's native integrations with Salesforce and Stripe have given me a clear view of revenue per customer. I used to spend several days each month calculating this information juggling between CSV downloads and complex formulas in various spreadsheets. Parsing deferred revenue was particularly challenging. Now revenue by customer and deferred revenue calculations are fully automated and easy to manage within Rillet. The automation of prepaid transactions has also been incredibly helpful. Replacing my Excel-based prepayment schedule with Rillet has significantly improved my end of month processes. The Stripe reconciliation engine handles payouts and fees automatically. Also it is impressive how the Rillet team updates the platform weekly and I have seen great progress since we began using it.
Cons
They currently do not have a native integration with one of our AP tools. But we have managed this with a simple workaround involving a CSV upload/download process that Rillets engineering team customized for us. However I hope they will eventually introduce a native integration. There is also no fixed asset register at this time.

“It's time for the future of finance and RIllet is it”
Pros
Rillet serves as a complete general ledger and replaces systems like QBO, Xero, NetSuite and Sage Intacct. I have been using it for a few months now and am really impressed with the experience. Their Stripe integration is top notch and essentially automates the entire revenue recognition process. Everything is pulled in through their various integrations (AP, payroll, etc) and most of the journal entries needed for closing are automatically populated. Their reporting features are also powerful as they handle SaaS metrics directly within the platform and consolidate financials across multiple entities and currencies.
Cons
Not much to mention so far. Whenever I have a question their team is very responsive and knowledgeable and they have used my feedback to drive quick product updates.

“Rillet for better reporting and a sleeker interface”
Pros
We transitioned from QBO to Rillet last year and it has been a positive change. The product allows us to track revenue by location which is an important metric for our investors. Additionally it is much more intuitive compared to our previous system.
Cons
We faced few issues during the setup where some things were not properly configured. The team was very helpful in addressing these problems and now we are on track.
